1 Are we ready to buy options, rather than gather information and form an opinion?
2 Quandary of knowledge enhancement. Whats the solution?
Shameena W.  |  Supported idea  "Quandary of knowledge enhancement. Whats the solution?"  |  3 months ago
Yes, the times are very demanding on a up and coming student - with the competitive overdose. Pressure to perform also plays a role. It does leave people in confusion where academic education starts and ends. But I firmly believe basics of...

The main reason is most of the services are ready for a cost. We don't have to exhaust our self if we are ready to pay.
Makesh Sharma  |  Supported idea  "Are we ready to buy options, rather than gather information and form an opinion?"  |  3 months ago
it is a very necessary topic that should be taken up not only on to-step but all across the society. Shantiji is correct when she mentions that ways of gathering information has changed. So is Shameena when she warns of degradation of our...

It is foolish to even think that women should be barred from working at night. We cannot abscond with this remark from our responsibilities .The most important we have do is to provide appropriate protection and security to them
Sheetal Bhandari  |  Argues in support of  "No"  |  10 months ago
Most of these rules are implied with a tag called "immoral" .. why?? Why can't a woman work. If you are talking about their security then shouldn't you impose rules which take care of their security instead taking away the freedom??

Adharma and Dharma co-exists in every human society. If we do have adharma we will be able to understand dharma. We have only try to make people understand the concept of dharma and follow the same. But I do not forsee a social order without adharma.

Practicing Dharma, is like practicing precaution .As we all know Prevention is better then cure, practicing Dharma weeds the source of adharma, rather then finding ways and means for the cure ,once it has set in. We have been used to the lure of the...

Steve Yegge originally shared this post: Stevey's Google Platforms Rant I was at Amazon for about six and a half years, and now I've been at Google for that long. One thing that struck me immediately about the two companies -- an impression that has been reinforced almost daily -- is that Amazon does everything wrong, and Google does everything right. Sure, it's a sweeping generalization, but a surprisingly accurate one. It's pretty crazy. There are probably a hundred or even two hundred different ways you can compare the two companies, and Google is superior in all but three of them, if I recall correctly. I actually did a spreadsheet at one point but Legal wouldn't let me show it to anyon...
