 Practical Thinking
neha singh  |  Argues in support of  "Positive Thinking"  |  9 months ago
Both are good if they are not lies, patch work and masquerading. But practical thinking doesnt mean you can lower your values. And positive thinking without a reality check is just a form of fooling yourself and everybody fools such a girl.
Shreela Sen  |  Argues in support of  |  1 year ago
There is a need to keep grounded. Chronic positive thinkers unkowingly trivialize others' (their near-&dears') problems (&efforts) by continuously finding something good in their misfortunes (& failures) & disappoint them. Of course, nothing is...

Positive emotional perceptions and beliefs is totally incomplete if not involvement of practical and creative solutions towards solving the issues with possible alternatives.

Shreela Sen  |  Argues in support of  "Distance education"  |  1 year ago
Teacher is a very important component of the education system, but as we go from school to higher education, esp. in our country, OPPORTUNITY is the first requirement. Distance education covers in it's net all those, who are unable to attend...

It's inadequate. I agree Pallavi, that there practical inputs are pathetically missing. No post graduation, whether academic, vocational or professional makes a student job-ready, either in terms of social skills, or even, sadly, techinical skills....
