Well,to manage attrition of employees... >> Motivate them by way of appraisals. >> Develope a small grievance & counselling section in the H.R. department itself. I guess the list would just go on continuing,so I better make an exit now.

Indian's Jai Ho! An American lawyer and an Indian are sitting next to each other on a long flight. The lawyer is thinking that Indians are so dumb that he could get one over on them easy... Â So the lawyer asks if the Indian would like to play a fun game. Â The Indian is tired and just wants to take a nap, so he politely declines and tries to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists, and says that the game is really, really a lot of fun. Â 'I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me only $5; you ask me one, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500,' the lawyer says. Â This catches the Indians attention and to keep the lawyer quiet, he agrees to play the game...

Oil from plastic to fuel your cars According to an estimation, seven percent of the world's annual oil production is used to produce and manufacture plastic, and the amount is more than the oil consumed by the entire African continent. Thankfully, a Japanese company called Blest, has invented a way to recycle plastic. The company has created a small, safe and easy to use machine that can convert several types of plastic back into oil. By burning the plastic, we generate toxins and a large amount of CO2. If we convert it into oil, we can save CO2 and at the same time people's awareness about the value of plastic garbage will also be increased, said Akinori Ito, CEO of Blest. The company uses...

Eating slowly could help you win the battle of the bulge. A study of more than 3000 Japanese adults published in BMJ found that those who ate their meals quickly were about twice as likely to be obese as their slow munching counterparts. Another report suggests that people who ate quickly and who ate until they were full were three times more likely to be obese. The research supports previous evidence that people tend to consume more calories when they eat quickly, but also that eating quickly is linked to obesity regardless of how many calories are eaten. The research suggests that people can learn to eat more slowly and recognize their internal cues for fullness. Setting aside meal timews...
