You don't mind if i comment on this one, yes even if the parent company is into IT services and it is having its subsidiary in another country like India, it is known as a captive center.

Captive center means Subsidary company, which operate sepertely however comes under the governance of the parent company...

Captive centers are being used by a number of foreign companies to offshore work to India primarily for control over assets, intellectual property core business activities as India as become a global hub for IT business process offshoring....
