Worked from 1989 to 1993

Brief summary :

Occupied mainly in IT based research Jun 1989 - Apr 1993 During this period, I wrote research oriented software applications in Pascal and Fortran languages on DEC-20 computers. The areas of research are briefly described as under Jun 1989 to Jul 1989: This was a short stint with HCL Ltd. at Delhi Sep 1989 to Apr 1991: At graduation, I had the above campus job offer from HCL Ltd., for a marketing position with them at Delhi. I preferred to pursue research in departments of Mechanical engineering and Aeronautical engineering at IIT Kanpur, and wrote software in the area of computational fluid dynamics- vortex flows, wind tunnel simulations and laser interferometers. May 1991 to Apr 1993: I interacted with other IIT professors and students- at IIT Delhi (in department of mechanical engineering) and IIT Powai (Mumbai) - to continue research on fluid flow through rectangular cells (typically modeled by wire meshes of different sizes). During this period I also obtained GRE and TOEFL certifications for admission to graduate study in USA. I got a partial scholarship at University of Hawaii and an admission to University of Maryland, USA to pursue PhD, while on the other hand, a job offer at research and space giant ISRO in India. I opted for the latter. (Please note: Experience certificates not available for the period 1989 to 1993)
