Training can be a profit centre if done within the company or as an independent training centre. One should not chase the 100s of me too training centres who compete on price since the purchaser does not know what he /she is paying for and they go by...
Kriti Das  |  Argues in support of  "NO"  |  1 year ago
It is a simple alternative for company and the candidate.. A candidate gets good job after training and company does not have to pay for it. Other skill trainings also mostly do good if taken from the right place. So what is bad in doing so??

If we want to sell our product as a entrepreneur with low cost then Personal selling is most important tool for effective marketing. which include direct meeting, tele-calling, reference selling and formation of commission agents.  Just to spend...
subramanian  |  Supported idea  "Telecalling"  |  2 years ago
teelcalling definitely works so long as the right person calls and speaks the right thing, the right way, at the right time to the right guy. This reaching the right guy is not easy as it might appear. If you want to speak to senior levels in the...
ramachandra  |  Supported idea  "Partner up to reach your ideal client"  |  2 years ago
it has been observed many a time if one does not partner up, one perishes because the might of a powerful competitor can really mow down someone when your chips are down. So having a clear idea of who my client is and where he shops, and what he...

Diversity is likely to increase owing to greater internationalization being one of the major factors. By the way, India is already a culturally diverse country and our organizations have had diversity since a long time. That's probably a reason...

I would n't restrict to the work force alone but the entire gamut of the organisational, business, societal and environmental ecosystem will be more and more diverse in the future. The basic argument for this to happen, is that we are now slowly...
Kriti Das  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  2 years ago
The future workplace will inevitably become more diverse. The assertion of more dimensions of diversity will be more complex to manage and could pose challenging opportunities and threats for organizational effectiveness. The work environment...

I strongly believe they are not mutually exclusive. Retaining the customers does not mean that there need not be a strategy for luring the new customers. Luring the new customers also required to stay ahead in the race and to spread your base in...

I think here are too many of these fads and catchy phrases which to me appear to have a short life, till the fad gets matured and dies just like business cycles. We tend to, like in management schools, students are asked to come up with a strategy...

I am a firm believer in 360 degree for both development and appraisals of both professional and managerial staff. The sucess or failure of a business depends on the whole working as a team with the right leaders in place and directing their teams...

What has an “Axe” to do with Performance Management? Ravi, Sham, Sunil, Sathish, Dinesh and so many others in the organization complained of work pressure, unachievable targets, peer pressure, time management and loss of work life balance. Despite working hard, their performance was going down and impacting organization’s bottom line. Who is to blame for poor performance of employees and business? Ask line managers; they blame it on HR for poor hiring. Ask HR; they blame it on line managers for poor management skills. Ask me, I would say, the Axe???? Now you will ask what (the hell) an Axe has to do in performance management business? Let me tell you a small story… Once upon a time, a very ...
