Simple, introduce prohibition. Intoxication brings out the monster in men and this in fact raises the violence against women and girls. So please say no to Liquor.

The National Sample Survey Organization(NSSO) discovered in its survey that almost half the country's farmers would abandon farming if they could find another occupation. If the FARMER does not grow food what will we eat ??? It is not like understanding Rocket Science to realize that we need to make Agriculture work if we as a Nation are to get anywhere. What can we do ? Indian farmer is always in a vicious cycle..What belongs to the farmers, should be rightly given to them..I mean compensation..no middlemen is required between the farmer n consumer..they should get a good price for whatever they are growing. Example : The small cotton roll that u buy in the pharmacy costs u around 40-50 buc...

We got to remove the middlemen as they are the problem that the system suffers from. The farmer does not get his due amount making farming non-appealing. But inflation is at all time high as the end consumer, really has to dig deep into his...

Today I read these three diferrent news story related to environment. 1. Desert geopark in China : What is a geopark ? Geopark is a place where rare geological landforms are preserved in an undisturbed state and where low impact recreation, scientific research, and educational activities can be pursued. The total planned area for this geopark is said to be 630.37 square km. It will be functioning as a museum as well as as scientific research center. 2. World Car free day : On September 22nd 200 cyclists celebrated World Car Free day by using cycles. This was an attempt to keep traffic jam and pollution at bay. Though the event went almost unnoticed and no similar effort was seen anywhere el...

The local currency dropped by Rs 1.24 against the dollar to close at 49.58 and is now expected to further weaken to below Rs 50 against the dollar. One dollor right now is equal to 49.58 Rs and time is not far when it will be more than Rs 50! This will mean higher exchange rates, costly imorts including oil . Yes oil, it makes us feel .. Oh no not again! But this is a fact we cannot deny. This will also mean that oversea workers will now be sending more money home. The US dollar has soared in value against most currencies despite the downgrade because the European crisis has made US treasuries a relatively safe investment. Rupee is the worst erforming Asian currency fallen almost 10% of its...

Where upto hockey is concerned Indian and Pakistani players are the best player in the world. . They play classical games where there is dribling and passing etc and they are very good at it. After the independence India was the world champion in the hockey till 1984. India won many hockey world cups and gold in Olympics. Then international hockey association decided to use turf ground in game. Indians were not inhabit of playing on this. We generally play on clay so there we lost many the games. The other thing is that the main governing bodies of hockey are in European countries. They are changing the rules frequently. This happens just before the world cup or Olympics. They implement the...

TURNING POINT A Different Kind of Pyramid Club An Article by Fred Edge Published in Readers Digest, November 2002   More years ago than I care to remember, I became a member of a very special kind of “pyramid club”. A teenager on summer break from high school in Ottawa, Canada, I got the urge to see more of my country. I hitchhiked, landing a few odd jobs along the way – picking apples or chopping firewood for a meal and permission to bed down in some farmer’s barn. Finally I ran out of money and jobs. It was late in the evening when a very old car chugged up the road; it stopped when I thrust out my thumb.   The driver was a middle aged man worn work clothes – a local farmer. When we came ...

Excerpt from the Book “Unposted Letter” by T. T. Rangarajan ’10 minutes early’ means I can live 10 years longer. There are two ways of catching a flight. If you’ve been flying regularly, then chances are you belong to this most common category. Getting stressed at the pace of traffic movement, driving the driver to drive a little faster, thinking of jumping signals, repeatedly glancing at your watch and rushing into the airport. In every queue from baggage scanning to chick-in to the security check, trying to jump the queue by explaining to everyone that you are running a little late for your flight… Walking a little faster to start with and then maybe even jogging to make it… a tense face,...

Yes 10 minutes early actually saves us from simulating a war like situation right from getting up and boarding the flight !! interesting

Facebook for business is a step-by-step online guide to help small businesses use the social networking site. Facebook is building a webpage www.facebook.com/business which will be online education centre. It wil give directions on how to set up a profile page, create targeted ads and deals, and interact with customer feedback online. This came right after g+ started shutting off all company profiles on its Google + social network. Google believes that social network is for an individual and it should be used to connect people with people and not for companies. Facebook business page is just like any other page. They just want to say that google will not let you connect to masses but we wil...
