These days alone, the number of vacancies are increasing in different MNCs. More people may be required when work on the SEZs begins. All kind of vacancies in huge number and in high salary are waiting for people but unfortunately, there is no much skills to match up with. It is bad enough finding employable manpower. High attrition rates compound the problem when one has to find the replacement staff equally fast Sector after sector, the human resource crunch is both similar and stark. To the aforementioned industries - construction, media and entertainment and ITES - suffering from manpower shortage, add retail, telecom, banking and financial services and hospitality. Little surprise that...

I think companies should give preference to the talent first and the freshers who are lacking practical knowledge should be given training with less salary because companies cant wait all the time searching for skilled employees. In this way at least...
Chitro Neogy  |  Commented  |  1 year ago
Well, the situation may be unique to India only, as the western markets are still in the doldrums and supply far outstrips demand. So I have two thoughts - perhaps its time for the much predicted reverse recruitment process from abroad. Secondly...

IS THIS “INDIA” ALL ABOUT: INDIAN HELL --- FUNNY ONE An Indian dies and goes to hell. There he finds that there is a different hell for each country. He goes first   to the German hell and asks “What do they do here?” He is told “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the German devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day.” The man does not like the sound of that at all, so he moves on. He checks out the USA hell as well as the Russian hell and many more. He discovers that they are all more or less the same as the German hell. Then he comes to the Indian hell and finds that there is a very long line of people ...
