I second Mr Narayan here. Only academic qualification is "nothing".. It is more than that. It is the ability to use the skills, the proper understanding and the right attitude which matters.

Rubbishing the theory that it was an end of an era in Australian cricket, skipper Ricky Ponting said the superior Indian side they lost to in World Cup quarterfinal should beat their arch-rivals Pakistan in the semifinals.Having lost to both India and Pakistan, Ponting said it was hard to pick between the two, but gave his vote to the co-hosts. Sports man spirit is high.. Lets hope for the same..

Yes because its like when something good happens in life we say it was our fortune and meant to be good for us, but when we are in bad phase this statement motivates us to move ahead rather then cribbing for what we dont get.

With a jump in the Indian economy from a manufacturing sector, that never really took off, to a nascent service sector, Banking as a whole is undergoing a change. A larger option for the consumer is getting translated into a larger demand for financial products and customisation of services is fast becoming the norm than a competitive advantage. With the Retail banking sector expected to grow at a rate of 30% [Chanda Kochhar, ED, ICICI Bank] players are focussing more and more on the Retail and are waking up to the potential of this sector of banking. At the same time, the banking sector as a whole is seeing structural changes in regulatory frameworks and securitisation and stringent NPA no...

A significant increase in concentration is a distinctive feature of the international banking trends. Today's economy is dominated by a small number of large multinational banks groups, whose operations cover the majority of countries. Most developed countries – USA (35%), Germany (17%), Japan (22%) are characterized by the lowest concentration, the highest level of this index in China (70%), Peru (67%), Czech Republic (66%) (concentration index is calculated as a percentage of the five largest banks in the assets of the national banking system). Banks that are operating successfully in the international financial market, has always relied on a strong position in the country of origin. Ther...
