The review of Policies and related communication plans Conducting audits on compensation data to ensure adhere to budgets and guidelines Network within and outside Motorola to benchmark best HR practices and implement Integration lead for acquisitions Business HR role ( Jan 2005 - Aug 2007) Business and Employee Engagement In this function I am the Business HR for several Software teams in an HR Generalist role for 500 engineers and support staff. The role included Engagement with business leaders to understand their strategy and plans and ensure alignment with HR vision and goals. Engagement with business managers and their teams to ensure adherence to, and timely execution of, HR processes Support in the recruitment strategy and processes Influencing compensation strategy and processes for the group, based on business drivers Create a positive Employee Relations environment Resolution of employee grievances Facilitating and coordinating the learning plan for the group Effectively coach, counsel and advise business clients Manage new employee integration processes Statutory and Legal compliance Ensure statutory compliance on relevant and applicable labor laws like PF, Gratuity, Superannuation, Shops and Establishments and Employee Insurance. This included the coverage and handling of escalations, both with internal and external parties. Regional and India projects Country lead for Asia Pac SAP up gradation project - this involved the collation of data and feedback right from the design phase to the current phase of realization/communication and UAT Core team member Transaction centre - this involved supporting through data and information on processes and policies for the setting up, implementation and development of the HR Support Services. HR Operations Management Manage HR operations for entire software group of Motorola in India Part of a project team that worked to ensure seamless induction/on boarding process for all new hires. Support the India HR Director in tracking and driving HR deliveries for Asia Pac and India, and the report out as required. Develop enabling technologies and process maps that create a significant impact on the development of HR Operations Spearheaded the Payroll and the Transaction centre interface Consultant - Global Assignment Centre (Jan 2003-Dec 2004) In this role I was primarily responsible for managing India GAC operations and for expatriates move into and out of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
