Drastically reduced rework on steel castings from 35% to less than 8% over a period of one year. Rework at fabrication and machining vendors shop reduced from 30% to 12% in one and half year. Welding aesthetics of heavy fabricated items drastically improved to global standards by change in process and welders training. Established intranet based product deviation, design discrepancy, customer complaint and design modification to facilitate improvement actions. Developed and engaged inspection agencies at 4 different cities for out station inspection activities thereby increasing the output of the inspection activity without increasing on roll manpower.
