We work with blue-chip world leaders to fill positions across India and at several international locations Designation : Senior HR Consultant(for Mphasis and HP dedicatedly) Duration : Aug 2008 to Nov 2009 Worked as a Global Consultant handling the requirements for Mphasis/ HP (Application Services and Infrastructure business) globally. Responsibilities: Recruitment: Assigned to handle the HR procedure of the company at the Onsite (recruitment of US, UK, SINGAPORE AND ALL GULF COUNTRIES candidates) Handling Recruitment Support Process, which includes the decision on source of recruitment; screening of profiles, conducting the selection process, which also includes the following steps: As a Sr.HR Consultant maintaining daily staffing matrix, for the Recruiters and HR Managers. Also working as acting TL (Prioritizes the work and allocation of work to team members). Provide high volume recruitment consulting with responsibility for open positions with multiple departments and hiring managers. Extensively involved in using Job Portals (Like Naukri,Monster,Timesjobs,Jobs ahead,etc) Understanding Short listing criteria of the profile. Sending call letters to the candidates. Suitable candidate identification scheduling and arranging round of interviews. Supervising the interview schedules. Involved in Client Management and Client Interaction. Dealing with hardcore (Nokia/Nokia Siemens) database to verify the candidature of the applicant. Evaluating the candidates over telephone and scheduling interviews for Face to Face and telephonic interviews based on location of interview and domain experience. Main liaison between the team and business .Handling conference calls and generation of various reports as per clients and internal requirement. Sourcing candidates through the database, social sites and references. Conducting screening and coordinating the interviews and doing all follow ups till the closure. Negotiating salary with selected candidates as per the company salary structure. Concentrate efforts on effective networking methods to reach the highest numbers of potential candidates through industry leads and sources, key contacts, candidate targeting, employee referral program, client/colleague, direct mailing. Re - skilling Apart from handing the requirements for the associates in Unit. I have the credit of training the Business wait associates as per the business demands and making them billable. This effort of mine, helped to avoid new hiring which contributed to the good books of the unit. From my effort - 54% of the Business wait associates have been trained and made business ready within a span of 3 months. Apart from this, I am also actively involved in Meeting the Business leaders on a monthly basis and understanding their difficulties in business delivery and suggesting Learning plans accordingly. | ||
