Of course a short interview of 15 minutes is not sufficient,But that is not the general way of recruiting also.Depends really on employer and the agency involved in recruitment process...How much serious they are,What specific strategy they have...

To judge a person we do not require long time, even 10 minutes is more than enough. Talent in judging the person in ten minutes. Regards, Anna George. Web Analyst. Nichepro Technologies. Bangalore. http://www.shruthandsmithfoundation.org

If it is the perfect process, then why there are thousands of examples in India where after getting recruited, within a year that perfect employee starts accepting bribe and enter into corruption.

Excerpt from the Book “Unposted Letter” by T. T. Rangarajan ’10 minutes early’ means I can live 10 years longer. There are two ways of catching a flight. If you’ve been flying regularly, then chances are you belong to this most common category. Getting stressed at the pace of traffic movement, driving the driver to drive a little faster, thinking of jumping signals, repeatedly glancing at your watch and rushing into the airport. In every queue from baggage scanning to chick-in to the security check, trying to jump the queue by explaining to everyone that you are running a little late for your flight… Walking a little faster to start with and then maybe even jogging to make it… a tense face, yet managing a smile for every attendant to make a case for yourself… finally, you barely make it to the flight. The second way is to leave for the airport 10 minutes early. There are two ways that a morning can start in every home. The first way is to simulate World War III. Everyone is...

It usually takes us much longer to change our moods than we’d like it to take. Here are ten things you can do in ten minutes or less that will have a positive emotional effect on you and those you love. 1. Watch "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. See it online at Oprah.com. This is a deeply moving segment that may be the best ten minutes you've ever invested in front of a computer. 2. Spend a little while watching the sunset with your mate. Nothing extra is necessary. Just sit and take in the natural beauty of the sky and appreciate being able to share it with the one you love. 3. Sit quietly by yourself. It doesn't really matter where or when. Just let your feelings bubble up and then experience the thoughts flowing out of your mind. Clearing your head and heart will give you extra energy to get through the rest of the day. 4. Write a thank you note to your mate. When was the last time you thanked your partner for just being who he or she is and being with you? Doing this in...

Sony is yet again ready to layoff 10,000 employees. It is not clear if this will be from Japan or overseas. This makes us think that how unpredictable can working in big brands be. We normally think that we should go for a big brand instead of working for a small company but when incidents like this happen they tear away our dreams, make us rethink and take away our sleep. If a company is going to lay off so many people where would they go, what would they do and how will they move forward. We have no answer to these questions. According to Nikkei‘s sources, Sony might also request that its seven executive directors — including Stringer — return their yearly bonuses. Sony hasn’t officially confirmed the report, but Hirai is set to brief the company’s business plan on Thursday, March 12.
