But we all have witnessed that mostly all the ads claim something that is never related to the products we buy today. Companies are taking advantage of emotions & ignorance of customers now a days...

I don't agree at all. It is not necessary to use celebrities for your ads. Companies are trying to sell products that are dangerous to the society by using the faces of the celebrities.... I'm against it..

I think advertising firms nowadays, are making ads for biz purpose making strong presence in the market by hitting only young tycoons as a target segment. the companies should start focussing on making ads more constrant to the consumer needs...

Agree that there are ads which make absolutely no sense however most of the ads created these days are very specific and are very focussed in communicating with the target segment. For e.g. if you see the Tata Ace ad..will definately not appeal...

Advertising in a whole needs a serious looka t.The claims made by washng powders has already been highlighted BUT ONLY WHEN THEY LAMBASTED ANOTHER BRAND!! How come lemon uice is made form concentrate but washing up liquid and soap from REAL LEMONS!!

Good One Namrata . Also the marketer has to keep in mind that every day is not Diwali & hence & many a times weather turns unfavourable for fishing . Its advisable to turn to different fishing ground or come another day with more resolve.
