As I have shown in my previous essay how American Exceptionalism played a great role in shaping the American mind from the early Puritan colonists to the American independence. In the first two essays of this current series, we have viewed how American exceptionalism influenced American policies from the early Puritan settlements till the American civil war. In this part, I will discuss how American exceptionalism shaped the American worldview from the end of the civil war till the beginning of the First World War.
