No in China most of them speak only their mother tongue but its not the case with India. Here there is mixture of culture and languages. So keeping a single language in the academics will not help the students. Rather first language should be...

Then which is our national language according to the Gujarat High court?-TAMIL?
R N Bhattacharyya  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  9 months ago
100% agree, you can not disagree with court verdict, because any court verdicts comes after long discussions and proofs submitted by both side

National language of any country is not decided by any official seal on any language but by the language which binds the entire country and its not hidden that Hindi is binding 90% of India. I don't care whether it is recognised as a national...

Facts about "Jana Gana Mana" - Just a thought for the National Anthem! How well do you know about it?     I have always wondered who is the "adhinayak" and "bharat bhagya vidhata",    whose praise we are singing. I thought might be Motherland India! Our current National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" is sung throughout the country.   Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn't.   To begin with, India's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of King George V and the Queen of  England when they visited India in 1919.   To honour their visit Pandit Motilal  Nehru had the five stanzas included, which are in praise of the King and  Queen. (And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!! !)   In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maratha etc. were mentioned. None of  the  princely states were recognised which are integral parts of India...

Private labels V/s national brands-The undercurrent battle!   This is very interesting to note that what is making national brands vexing is not the competitors alone but the surge of private labels which seems to be eating out major chunk of the pie, traditionally a part of the appetite of the former. Private Label Manufacturer's Association categorizes PL manufacturers into 4 main categories: Large national brand manufacturers that utilize their expertise and excess plant capacity to supply store brands. Mall, quality manufacturers who specialize in particular product lines and concentrate on producing store brands almost exclusively. Often these companies are owned by corporations that also produce national brands. Major retailers and wholesalers that own their own manufacturing facilities and provide store brand products for themselves. Regional brand manufacturers that produce private label products for specific markets. In 2008, private labels had taken over 25% to 50% in...

When I had heard about the Windows first I could not even understand what does it mean and why is named that way but eventually things changed and today we are here using Windows extensively and even a school boy will tell you what does it mean. Later on with times we I was just getting used to windows using my P4 and then on my laptop I heard of phones with such advanced technologies. Then came Blackberry which was excluisvely for business purpose. Then the Android overtook the iPhone in 2010 to become the most popular smartphone platform in the U.S. and the third-most popular handset (behind Symbian and BlackBerry) in the world. As Google continues to build out the Android Marketplace, and as it pushes both Android and Chrome into a variety of non-PC devices, Android looks like a good bet to be the Windows of the mobile world. However, operating systems in general will become much less important over time. One of the major changes ushered in by smartphones is the importance of the...

The SkyDrive service utilizes Windows Live ID to limit access to the files the user has uploaded, allowing them to keep the files private, share with contacts, or make the files public. Publicly-shared files do not require a Windows Live ID to access. Windows Live SkyDrive The service currently offers 5GB, with a maximum upload file size of 50MB. Up to five files can be uploaded each time. Optionally, an ActiveX tool can be installed to allow drag-and-drop uploading from Windows Explorer. On its launch, Windows Live Folders (as it was then) was provided as a limited managed beta and available only to a few testers in the United States. On August 1, 2007, the service was expanded to a wider audience. Shortly after on August 9, 2007 Windows Live Folders was renamed...
