About "BE REGIONAL, THINK NATIONAL....." topic:

Among companies around the world, there is near unanimous agreement that BEING REGIONAL is a strategic priority, however, uncertainty exists over how to enact such comprehensive change. Corporate decision-makers tend to see BEING REGIONAL & THINK NATIONAL  primarily as a technology challenge, but from our experience, the largest impediment to this is cultural.

The "BE REGIONAL, THINK NATIONAL" mindset is firmly rooted in corporate culture. Within most large, geographically dispersed organizations, the overseas offices and subsidiaries continue to operate with a great deal of autonomy. Seeped in the local business customs and laws, the in-country managers are regarded as regional experts and their decisions regarding that market are largely deferred to.

So, lets have a deep insight on this....

Some time the models dominate and divert the attention. Proper wordings, images, media etc are very important. Avoiding models will position the product in a better manner.

The idea of national marketing is okay. However, the costs of launching products nationally may not be affordable by all. Medium sized companies and small FMCG marketers should focus on Regional Markets with an objective of creating a "niche" for...

What is stopping you from getting what you want in life? Your friends? Your family? A sense that failure – or success – might change your life and that feeling uncomfortable? A sense that the people around you might disapprove of you aiming for what you want, of you succeeding or failing. Essentially it boils down to fear. The big roadblock, sometimes the massive wall in the middle of road that keeps you from getting what you want. How to overcome it? Here´s some useful ways I have found so far. 1. Taking small steps This is good for fear that can seem overwhelming at first. For instance the strong feeling – it can almost feel like a flight or fight-response – just before doing public speaking or asking someone out for a date. If you´re for instance nervous socially you might not feel able to ask people out on dates right away. The fear of being rejected and that others might think less of you if you get turned down can make many of us feel unable to ask the question. A solution...

You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says, "He's very rich.Marry him." That's Advertising. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day you call and say "Hi,I'm very rich.Marry me." That's Telemarketing. You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie, you walk up to her and pour her a drink. You open the door for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her a ride, and then say, "By the way, I'm very rich. Will you marry me?" That's Public Relations. You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says, "You are very rich.." That's Brand Recognition. You see a gorgeous girl at a party.
