About "child education" topic:
As govt is trying to demolish child labor from our country but in vain. So got an idea that why dont govt. tie-ups with NGO & start educating those child labors? Because they are poor people & cant afford education expenses, so in day they can work wherever they like but in evening there should be education classes for them so they can be educated & be self dependent. Because reason behind poverty, child labors is only lack of education among people. So education is must to come over these types of problems.

Sex Education to Children K S VENKATARAMAN Sex Education Sex Education is concerned with imparting knowledge about human sexual behavior; it should include the details of sexual reproduction, contraception, sexual anatomy, sexual intercourse, reproductive health and reproductive rights. While there cannot be two opinions regarding the importance of knowledge of sex-related things in life, when children are involved it calls for a very careful approach; it should be decided very carefully how gradually the knowledge should be made available to them. Sex is the most important and powerful natural force activating the living beings. Nature has taken maximum precaution in preserving the sexual ...

That winter afternoon was different from others. I was strolling in the sunlight when my gaze fell on her. It made my heart skip a beat. She was right there, in front of me, seated on a cement filled sack- enjoying the heat emitted by the sun, scribbling something on a manual (perhaps a mobile or a computer manual) with a pen. I felt a shiver run down my spine. So lost was she in her thoughts and too deeply engrossed by her endeavors to write and read, she barely noticed the passerby’s and me. I could watch the virtue and eagerness on her face. I thought of approaching her and helping her out. But I couldn’t gather enough courage to confront her. My mind started searching for other altern...

Importance of Distance Education in India Asif Ahmed After independence, India had made tremendous progress in the field of education, though mostly quantitative in nature. Earlier, education was available only to the elites in society, and a large majority of poor and marginalized people remained illiterate. Political considerations have an important role in the expansion of higher education, especially at the state level. The state government experienced tremendous pressure from the public to establish more and more colleges and universities. In a democratic society, even the strong governments find it very difficult to resist such pressures and are compelled to succumb to the same. These considerations have led to fast expansion of higher education in our country, which in turn, have adverse impact upon its quality....

I am very happy to see 'Right to Education' becoming a reality. 'Right to Education' has become a fundamental right now. As everybody knows that a fundamental right is to be secured or ensured by the states and when the state is failed to secure a fundamental right, then, the citizens can approach the High Court or the Supreme Court under Article 226 of Constitution of India and under Article 32 respectively. We know what all the fundamental rights under the constitution and also the directive principles. We have seen in the past as to how the scope of Part-III of Constitution has been expanded by the Constitutional Courts from time to time and at one point of time, it has appeared to many as I believe that the line between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy has become very thin. Interpretation of constitutional provisions apart, ultimately it is the state that has to secure the rights. It is the bold step of the UPA led Congress Government making education...

Why the pen is mightier than the keyboard: Children who write by hand 'learn better than those who type' Children and students who write by hand learn better than those who type, a study has revealed. Something is apparently lost in the brain process when switching from pen and book to computer screen and keyboard. This is because reading and writing involves a number of our senses, according to the scientists who conducted the study. When writing by hand, the movements involved leave an imprint in the part of the brain called the sensorimotor. This process helps to help us recognise letters. Simply touching and typing on a keyboard produces a different response in the brain, which means it does not strengthen the learning mechanism in the same way. In tests, two groups of volunteers were asked to learn an unknown alphabet. The first was taught to write the letters by hand, while the other used keyboards. At weekly intervals their recollections of the alphabet were recorded. And...

What Indian Business Education don’t provide for the Environment. Value generated and transacted in Business is the hallmark and pillar of the skill generated from a Business education. A business when it sell products in India, they don’t worry about the affordability of their wares by the masses let alone functionality which may be part of it. A business incurs around 40% of fixed cost component along with may be 30% variable cost and probably the rest as ‘conversion cost’. What Business education teach us and what is followed in Efficient economies is they fix a breakeven point say 100 units of sale. These 100 units will provide the years cost incurred. After this point they will start giving discounts say 10% or so, so that more of products will move at lowered costs. If products are priced far above these three costs then the demand will subside and the production line will stagnate even for normal production. Two things are required in the environment for this process to...
