About "CHINA GROWTH PLANS FOR 2010." topic:

China is celebrating its 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China. But there is something more to celebrate.

China's manufacturing expanded in September for a sixth month and employment rose at its fastest rate in two years, indicating a recovery in the world's third-largest economy is on track.

Employment in China grew at its fastest rate in 25 months, which suggest that China's recovery, fuelled by heavy government spending on public works construction, is spreading to the consumer sector. The ultimate fruits are now coming out of spending the stimulus declared by China. China's industrial output rose 8.1% in the first eight months from the same period last year driven by Beijing's 4 trillion yuan ($586 billion) stimulus. In August alone, China's industrial output expanded

I red somewhere, that instead of worrying about your enemy, do worry about you. Think what you are now, what you want to be in next 10 years. Others will start follow you.

Dragon In Footsteps Of Soviet Union   China is to blame for triggering an expensive arms race in the region by its dangerous brinkmanship that has woken up a much more technologically superior power like Japan. It is following in the footsteps of the Soviet Union which diverted huge parts of its GDP to imaginary defence needs at the cost of raising the Gross Happiness Product of its citizens. Willl China show to the world that it is a responsible, restrained and mature global power and not a fire-spewing dragon, asks veteran China watcher  Rajeev Sharma.   Sir Winston Churchill foresaw the decline of French military power and the rapid strides made by Hitler’s Germany way back in 1935 when ...

China And Pakistan Supply Indian Maoists January 11, 2012: Even as China continues to harass India on security and diplomat issues, the Indian intelligence agencies have come up with far more disturbing reports which have huge implications for India’s national security.  These classified reports reveal that Maoist leaders have been secretly visiting China’s Yunan province for arms training and China has set up a weapon manufacturing facility in Myanmar’s Kachin province. The Kachin factory produces near-exact replicas of AK 47 rifles which are supplied to the Maoists. The Indian government has long been aware that the Maoists are equipped with sophisticated weaponry, and now the source is known.  Even more dangerous is the growing proximity of the Maoists with Pakistan based Islamic terror group Lashkar-i-Taiba and terrorist leader Dawood Ibrahim. The Indian Maoists have also cooperated with Islamic terrorist run, drug operations. Several Indian states report that Maoists are...

Planning nitty-gritty processes is a need to tame Inflation. Suppose if one go to an Office to get some work done, if the person is forced to go back many time to make his task achieved instead of just ones and in short time, huge bills get run in the form of transportation, fuel, food etc;. These are not optimal consumption pattern rather wasted consumption, for a function that can be achieved in a short while taking long time to complete. These extra consumption require unnecessary infrastructure and resources like extra manpower, extra road and transportation facilities. The extra manpower again creates suboptimal consumption where demand for goods and services gets inflated leading to price hikes and inflation. Suppose only optimal consumption through mandated performances in short while can nullify the extraconsumption component in an economy and can lead to optimal consumption and no inflation since wasted consumption and over demand for this is avoided. Take for example, in...

Traders Crisis Averted As I  noted yesterday , Indian and Chinese diplomats have been working to avert a potential flashpoint between the two giant Asian neighbors over two detained Indian businessmen. And, after some fevered negotiations, it seems like they’ve managed it. The two Indians, Deepak Raheja and Shyamsundar Agrawal, were reportedly being held hostage by Chinese traders  in the city of Yiwu after the owner of the company they worked for, a Yemeni national, apparently fled after failing to clear his debt to the Chinese traders. The traders had been insisting that Raheja and Agrawal must pay the money as they finalized the transactions. When the Indian traders refused they were  reportedly forced to drink their own urine . The incident risked sparking a diplomatic row between the two countries, with one of the captive businessmen raising the stakes by apparently promising to commit suicide if the Indian government didn’t step in and evacuate them to Shanghai within 24...

Today I read these three diferrent news story related to environment. 1. Desert geopark in China : What is a geopark ? Geopark is a place where rare geological landforms are preserved in an undisturbed state and where low impact recreation, scientific research, and educational activities can be pursued. The total planned area for this geopark is said to be 630.37 square km. It will be functioning as a museum as well as as scientific research center. 2. World Car free day : On September 22nd 200 cyclists celebrated World Car Free day by using cycles. This was an attempt to keep traffic jam and pollution at bay. Though the event went almost unnoticed and no similar effort was seen anywhere else. I wonder why do such news go unnoticed when certain channels are busy showing what do star eat and how thye go to the gym and what do they wear. I was surprised to see zero comments in the article where I read this news. I wonder what kind of news do people normally look for? 3. Britan will...

Future for the biotech industry is great and booming everyday. The first step in this direction was already taken recently, when genetically modified tropical fish with new and brilliant colors appeared in pet stores. Yet this technology has to progress to become user friendly. Also the breeders of plant species see a big future in this technology. This business is time consuming and scientists spend their life doing new experiments everyday. Also with emergence of genetic engineering, one can  breed new varieties of roses and orchids. Also, progress is continuing in field of human genome project and deciphering the codes of genetic codes. Domesticated biotechnology, will help in crop production and in production of variety of new species of nutrition rich food material.New lineages will proliferate to replace those that monoculture farming and deforestation have destroyed. Designing genomes will be successful as maximum efforts are taking place in this regard. One interesting thing...
