I feel getting cmm5 is not a big deal its the managemnt and the comp commitment which can help ... CMMI is just a road one needs to walk on it

I am always leery of new Quality initiatives and new technological models which come with a new jargon to learn, making it exclusionary, versus inclusive, in being able to spread the system from person to person and organization to organization without the intercession of the high priest of the movement... I first heard of CMMI in college and recently started reading parts of a book entitled The Capability Maturity Model Integration published by the SEI in 1995.
