About "Commonwealth Games - Costing Many Lives!!!" topic:
Construction workers building venues for the Commonwealth Games are dying in New Delhi because of a lack of safety equipment. Nearly 45 of them have died during construction for these games at different locations, and we cannot be proud of organizing these games on the death bed of these workers.
Why safety is still neglected in construction industry in India, why required norms are not being followed as we all saw the recent fire tragedies where the safety of the building was compromised and leading to death. But the important thing here is that safety norms are not being followed even while building these structures forget about the safety of the building when it is finished.
So, how construction industry can ensure safety while construction is happening? lets discuss all the various aspects of construction safety and also the safety of the building.
