RESULT = Func(EFFORT, NOISE) EFFORT = Your input (Decisions Actions) towards attainment of Set Goal or RESULT. The Success and % of Accompalishment of RESULT, also depends on the NOISE. Nitin well said. So to put it in two words, Luck can act as a noise supressor so that you get result equivalent to ones efforts. I will consider myself lucky if everybody accepts this gives me thumbsup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other day I was in a restaurant and saw a sign advertising "Sliders Fridays." From what I gathered, they offered a deep discount on tiny hamburgers, called sliders, on Friday nights.
