Unable to attract even a single girl, frustrated man sues Axe New Delhi. In what could prove to be a major marketing and legal embarrassment for Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), a 26-year-old man has filed a case against the FMCG company, which owns the Axe brand of men grooming products, for ‘cheating’ and causing him ‘mental suffering’. The plaintiff has cited his failure to attract any girl at all even though he’s been using Axe products for over seven years now. Axe advertisements suggest that the products help men in instantly attracting women. Vaibhav Bedi, the petitioner, also surrendered all his used, unused and half-used deodorant sprays, perfume sticks and roll-ons, anti-perspira...

HUL must have deployed under cover agents to check on the claims of Vaibhav. If they are able to find even 1 relationship where he is seen going out with a girl his case would loose steam. they may also plant a paid girl in Vaibhav's life. Just...

I thought it was a forward joke! The ads really dont deserve this much time/ effort/ money being spent behind them... They are shown in a fun spirit and to be taken as such.

At some point time we all would have had some bad experience or the other with all products. this is because for a product to sell in a tight market place the perceived value of that product has to be hyped up otherwise there will be no takers.

The one of a kind website is poised to be India’s largest consumer portal with a database of over 40,000 companies’ and 200,000 products’ online consumer reports.    An ignored and underprivileged group, the 300 million+ consumers of India seldom have access to information about corporate fraud, statistics about superior / inferior products, and swift justice in the event of being duped in a purchase. I support the fight against corruption which Anna Hazare jee has started but at the same time my mind is full of doubts.. Many doubts.. How can we stop corruption in India? When I was in school my parents used to pay 10 rupee every month to the peons to take care of me.. Though it was their duty and they should have done the dame without money but those 10 rupees created a lot of difference in their behavior. Corruption has strong roots. Corruption has to uprooted and the tumors which it has formed like the cancer tumors have to be removed. Even a single cell has the power to recreate it. We are humans and do not have control on the basics feelings like greed. If you are given even 500 rupees to do one work you will happily take it and start dreaming about how to spend it. While when your earn the same you prefer saving it. When this saving and spending ratio has to be balanced you prefer to be irrational. The cleaning of individual from within is necessary and that can be done...

Facts about "Jana Gana Mana" - Just a thought for the National Anthem! How well do you know about it?     I have always wondered who is the "adhinayak" and "bharat bhagya vidhata",    whose praise we are singing. I thought might be Motherland India! Our current National Anthem "Jana Gana Mana" is sung throughout the country.   Did you know the following about our national anthem, I didn't.   To begin with, India's national anthem, Jana Gana Mana Adhinayaka, was written by Rabindranath Tagore in honour of King George V and the Queen of  England when they visited India in 1919.   To honour their visit Pandit Motilal  Nehru had the five stanzas included, which are in praise of the King and  Queen. (And most of us think it is in the praise of our great motherland!! !)   In the original Bengali verses only those provinces that were under British rule, i.e. Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat, Maratha etc. were mentioned. None of  the  princely states were recognised which are integral parts of India...

The King is ailing, who will succeed the King? That is of course the question on the mind of Apple’s shareholders, employees and to a lesser extent its customers and clients (who will jump to a Droid or Google, if and when they create products that excite and service them as well as Apple products). Despite protestations and reassurances from Jobs and Apple COO, Tim Cook, and despite their not just weathering, but thriving during Jobs-less times, an Apple without Jobs makes many nervous to their core. If we were to think of Jobs not as a unique and irreproducible person, but as a mindset, skill set and capacity that could be deconstructed and then modeled, not only could Apple continue its amazing growth, but other companies might follow suit. Much has been written about Jobs trying to figure out his “secret sauce” so that others might use it to propel their companies and careers to extraordinary outcomes. 1.     Dropped out of Reed College 2.     Calligraphy 3.     Psychedelics...
