I Agree too. The worst part is there is no HR practices to check this. Its a big problem when there is single line of management over the new matrix method.

It is true.Faking degrees and experience is quite rampant now a days.I read somewhere that the C.F.O of ENRON got his job on the basis of a fake degree.Such people have have no qualms about indulging in corrupt practices and fraud as was proved.

As the saying goes, “everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die”. Applying this ratio to the corporate scenario, it can be aptly said that climbing up the corporate ladder really calls for a home-work from one’s side and this discreetly commences with building up good ethics at workplace. A successful manager or a leader is not the one who can run business profitably rather it’s the ethical vision that drives the success of any business in the long run. Let’s exemplify this fact by deliberating on the Satyam fiasco. The company which won the esteemed Golden Peacock award for its clear transparency later faced the repercussions owing to lack of work ethics of Mr. Ramalinga Raju...

I did my Schooling from a Boarding(St.Amtul's Public School - Nainital) Masters in International Business Management from Dutch Delta University - Netherlands in 2005 where i topped and was awarded Best Student...There i was approached by Mr.Jay More Global President of Human Factors International, i rejected the offer cause he lied to me and then I came back to India to work for my country and see the irony that here in my home country no company dared to give me a single chance to prove my talents even after trying for 6 long years 'n many job portals like monster 'n naukri are fooling with job seekers like me and i never got a relevant job opportunity... some approach me for programmings and those fools didn't gave a Damn care to have a through look at my C.V. I challenge the top notch key decision makers in any Industry to have any type of business discussions with me and i bet they will not be able to resist the proceedings in the discussions... The other day I was in a restaurant and saw a sign advertising "Sliders Fridays." From what I gathered, they offered a deep discount on tiny hamburgers, called sliders, on Friday nights. The interesting thing about this discovery is that I own the restaurant and it's the first I knew of it. (Stacey's at Waterford: www.eatatstaceys.com ) I don't just own the restaurant. I also manage it, although I use that term loosely. I've taken the concept of hands-off management to the next level. Most of the time I have no idea what the staff is up to. They organize customer events, execute marketing ideas, hire and fire, change the menu, and pretty much anything else they want. I only get involved if there is a largish expense that needs to be approved. I see the financials daily, by e-mail, but I'm mostly about the bottom line. As a well-known critic of managers, I painted a big red bulls eye on my back when I started managing the restaurant. For the first year I was involved in the details...

This is an ‘untold story’ from Mahabharat, published in a Sanskrit Magazine, many years ago. My father used to read it out to me and translate into my mother tongue. It goes like this: Duryodhan is lying in the battle field, awaiting death, badly bruised by the wounds inflicted by Bhima. He kept his three fingers in a raised position and is unable to speak. All the efforts made by his men to understand the meaning proved to be futile. Seeing his plight Krishna approached him and said “I know what issues occupied your mind. I will address them”. He clarified that the issues are a) not building a fort around his capital city, b) not persuading Vidur to participate in the battle c) not making Aswathama as commander-in-chief after the death of Dronacharya. Krishna explained further that (a) Assuming that you built a fort, I would have asked Nakul to mount the horse and destroy the fort, (b) If you succeeded in persuading Vidur to participate in the battle, I would have...
