Hi Sahana good idea I support you. This is one of the most commonly seen unethical practices in most of the corporates. This we can mostly see between the employees and employer. When an employee is more friendly with the employer he will do...

I Agree too. The worst part is there is no HR practices to check this. Its a big problem when there is single line of management over the new matrix method.
Arunangshu Choudhury  |  Supported idea  " Employees faking work"  |  2 years ago
It is true.Faking degrees and experience is quite rampant now a days.I read somewhere that the C.F.O of ENRON got his job on the basis of a fake degree.Such people have have no qualms about indulging in corrupt practices and fraud as was proved.

Ethics is a fundamental policy. There should be common ethical values which form the backbone of the functioning of an organization. It is not possible to have seperate ethics for each functionality in an organization. Ethics and code of conduct...

I do not see any way a company can go against law i.e. have ethcics that are against laws of the land. It is the responsibility of each HR employee to know the laws and not go against laws. Implicit fear or coercion to violate the law cannot be...

I don't think those who are taking the oath will keep it in the mind forever. There is no use in this. Even doctors are taking oath? Do all the doctors are following this. What about politicians?

I totally agree this would be good, and effective to some degree, however, with so many disappointments in the past I've grown somewhat apathetic towards "Oaths".

As the saying goes, “everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die”. Applying this ratio to the corporate scenario, it can be aptly said that climbing up the corporate ladder really calls for a home-work from one’s side and this discreetly commences with building up good ethics at workplace. A successful manager or a leader is not the one who can run business profitably rather it’s the ethical vision that drives the success of any business in the long run. Let’s exemplify this fact by deliberating on the Satyam fiasco. The company which won the esteemed Golden Peacock award for its clear transparency later faced the repercussions owing to lack of work ethics of Mr. Ramalinga Raju...

Give impetus to Rural Telecom.   By Abraham Paul, MD CEO Future Groups (India), FCOMNET (UAE)   In spite of the few hiccups in the beginning, the privatization has pushed Telecom business in India making the services available and affordable to common man.   Most of the issues in the beginning were due to inertia of the incumbent provider in changing their old mindset. The main aspect of telecom expansion being that it virtually reduces space making the distance immaterial, the initial decision of making the GSM Wireless Telecom license areas co-terminus with existing telecom circles was one of the major flaws. Over and above disallowing of direct interconnects between different networks of the Service Provider forced them to make multiple investments on one side and loss of revenue to the incumbent operator on the other side.      Bringing in the concept of Pan India Telecom with Unified Licensing was a positive step to correct few of these earlier wrong doings. But the present...
