About "Creating buzz without Advertising" topic:

"Survival of the fittest” is often attributed to Darwinism.  But more accurately Charles Darwin was trying to say like "survival of the flexible" as those species most rewarded with longevity.  In all the midst of an economic crisis that was stacked upon us and on top of that an environmental crisis, it is this agility that is quickly defining how business will happen in coming days.

Today we are seeing more and more ads being placed in online medium than tradional media, everything is done on clicks and not on bricks, and also people are going for so much cost cutting and innovative ways such that in future we might not see advertisements at all. So people, can we create buzz without advertising? lets discuss on this interesting topic.

Advertising is one of the promotional medium to attract sale. Sales follow promotion and therefore a Marketer would prefer spending on a medium that helps him generate leads

Well it depends on the product however creating a customer wow which could be in the services provided or the product itself with its value for money is the best way of WOM
Aravinda Rao  |  Supported idea  "Strong PoP activities + Impressive Customer Care"  |  2 years ago
Absolutely right. People talk about things that they can see. PoP is the biggest key when it comes to consumer goods. Today's genre also looks very deep into customer care. Gone are the days of sell it and forget it.

These days as I switch on the tv or radio or look at a hoarding I do feel that power of ads I see. There are few innovative ads but rest all are stale. I do not understand many of these ads, their purpose looks so unclear that I feel that......

Many advertisements come and go.. Few make an impression on our mind.. Impression might be good , bad and at times ugly!!! The government has cracked down on "obscene" deodorant advertisements directing advertisers to modify them or take them off air. The I B ministry has asked the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) to take action and submit a report within five days. On one side are the good ads like one of our Toostep user posted "wRite to change" ( Hath Uthao ) and on other hand are these ads.. It becomes more important because even the kids watch tv and ads will be viewed by all.. Many parents have hard time explaining to their kids that what it actually is and why should they change the channel. While the other group of people says why is this county with world's second largest population offended by sexuality? What is your point of view here?

In fact, when considering the components of creating a content marketing strategy, writing is the easy part of the equation. In today’s increasingly crowded content marketplace, your brand needs to know how to not only  create and   implement  a content strategy that will help you achieve your pre-determined goals, but also how to  develop content  that will also help you stand out in the stream. During a recent  Marketing Cloud  webinar,  The Altimeter Group’s   Charlene Li  and  Rebecca Lieb  discussed “ Winning Content Marketing Strategies: Rebalance Your Organization to Deliver Effective Content .” At the centerpiece of the webinar was a recent study conducted by Rebecca with Zack Kirchner and Jaimy Szymanski. “ Content: The New Marketing Equation ” features input from 56 ecosystem...
