Kingfisher is a big banner and we see this brand doing many things including lavish waste of money in various events. This all is done though it has a lot of money due. The payments to airport operators, oil companies and vendors of all imaginable items are due and its a massive due.  130 pilots have left the company and major flights have been canceled.  This is the time to stoop wasting money on calendars and start paying to all, isn't it? Do you thing they have lost it all in show off?

The Kingfisher's present situation is due to the concentration only for upper class, it is highly niche market. Low cost airlines creator Capt Gopinath always telling him to concentrate on Indian market, Low cost will really works here. when Air...

The Metallica show was awesome. It gave a lot of people what they were waiting for. It even gave some folks new iPhones, MP3 players and laptops. A day later as I write this, the band’s gone, the crowd’s gone, our belongings are gone and all that remain are some horrifying memories of a night that should have been epic. Prologue: Most of the tickets booked on the last few weeks never got delivered to their owners. Instead, they bounced back and each fan was forced to go the venue to collect their passes. The security was so intense at the ticket counter on the day before the event that it took me 3 long hours to get hold of my pass and the queue was all of fifty people long! We thought DNA’...

All DNA personals should be jailed and they should be penalized for their irresponsibility. DNA should be banned in India for any further events.. They have proved that they are not suitable or capable of organizing such events.

The writing has been on the wall for too long. On the one hand, the government sponsored schemes for the economically backward people is adding to the NPAs. And on the other, the largesse being given to the rich industrialists and businessmen (in...

Hi to everyone.. When I was in school I had learned that spring is the king of al the seasons . The king is here and the world around us should be beautiful, full of colours, butterflies and bumble bees.. Sounds like a fairy tale isn't it. The earth is different now than it was years back then. Todat we are suffering from hottest of sumers and the days coming will be hotter. Summer is the favourite season for ower cuts as the demand supply ratio is in imbalance. Yesterday I was passing through a temple on my way to home . It was shining brightly.. With all those series and halogens and the tube light of my mind too blinked. I gave it a closer look and found the connection was illegaly tken ...

IN RECENT times, Maharashtra has been experiencing a severe power crisis. For many decades, it had a reputation for reliable supply and recorded good progress both in industry and agriculture. But because of little or no addition to generation capacity for almost a decade, many parts of Maharashtra are now subject to power cuts for six-ten hours a day. During the 1990s, there was a flurry of seminars and symposia by the Independent Power Producers Association (IPPA) to educate government functionaries about how the structure of the power supply industry should be changed to make it IPP-friendly. Notwithstanding the time and energy invested by civil servants and politicians, the growth in pr...

Much before we talk on alternatives let us ask one simple question? Who has the will to do it?? Surely once this first question is affirmative there are several ways and means we in India can course correct from solar power to small hydel-units.

Yes the veto power has to be re-looked into both at the political and economic point. The 5 countries do not reflect the reality of today.
