Damping Technology is employed in high rise buildings to absorb various vibration energies which are induced in a building due to wind flow seismic actions. wind load analysis and earthquake analysis of a building results greater dimensions of load bearing components. by implementing damping technology we can minimize the volume of concreting or fabrications. In case of MR DAMPERS , the magneto rheological fluids absorb the vibrating energies by changing their physical state thus providing resistance against slendering. I request all the experts in this field, to share their views, to enrich our range of knowledge.

	Damping in the structure needs research because till it is not quantified while designing we take some percentage value of critical damping

Rahul Dravid announced his retirement and suddenly we find a new member in the team. Some people think he should have retired earlier while other say he should have continued playing. But all in all I find his decision of making space for someone new right. We need the 'new' generation to come u and replace old before it is too late. This is not only applicable to the game but everywhere. Yes specially politics. During the recent elections when the elephant was run over by the cycle we all knew its going to be one of them.
