China is a country which can give you any product for YOUR price. There are suppliers in all segments which cater to the high end market as well as the low end market. The saying CHEAP BEST does not really work/exist.For any quality product there...

Well whatever you say, there would be a mix of some poor quality parts in the product. You can choose a good supplier, but whether he uses all goods products or not is not sure, i.e. some minor parts are bound to be of poor quality because of low...

Well Vikas, do you think that Indian Exporters are fools that they have not planned for this in advance, because everybody would have thought of this well in advance and would be prepared with all guns ready for this.
Vikas Tripathi  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  3 years ago
Yes, because there were a lot many tings which were being exported by India to China for the period and it had made the export business flourish but now? Take example of steel which we used to export but now these would reduce.

Yes, the Chinese goods have invaded almost all the sectors of Indian market. Chinese manufacturing units produce goods on a large scale. They are using the big Indian market merely to dump their products and by doing so they are killing the...

Some instructions for starting an Import Export Business With China. 1)For most Chinese suppliers, the payment term is a major concern to be considered instead of price, specially negotiating with a new importer or buyer on their first contract. I think this is reasonable fair to both side. 2)It will be easier to conclude a contract by using L/C payment term instead of D/P payment when Starting An Import Export Business with China, especially negotiating with your new exports or sellers. You may change the terms at a certain period later when your both side mutually feel need it and understand each other so well. 3)Do not concern yourself whether or not you appear polite or are sensitive to...

tHATS GOOD IDEA BUT CAN WE MEET THEIR PRICES .OR TO ENTER THEIR MARKET WE HAVE TO CUT OFF OUR STANDARD.
Jonathan  |  Supported idea  "Establish a joint venture"  |  3 years ago
I can't agree with this. A Joint venture is not necessary, neither is it a good choice. A Chinese individual is not allowed to set up a JV with foreign entity or individuals. So, the best way to do this is a WFOE.

China has been thriving in recent years and has been named as the “World’s factory” because of its high production and low labor cost. It seems to be a trend now to import goods from China directly since there will be middleman in between and hence one can get the latest and cheapest products. China offers a vast array of products and to track something down that is suitable, you are going to need someone who knows the country well. He or she can advise you very quickly if you are likely to find a company where you could place your order and thereby increase your margins. Here are some of the things that you will need to establish before working with an import agent: Full product details with drawings / graphics Packing presentation details Branding requirements Certifications Safety standards required Date product is required Quantities (min order quantities apply in most cases) Also you need to take care of the following things if you are planning to import from China; Products...

Why China And India Don't Get Along January 4, 2011: India-China ties are set to enter treacherous waters in the coming months. This is clear from current Chinese attitudes, wherein China favors Pakistan at the expense of India. For example, China is selling a one Giga watt nuclear reactor to Pakistan and is determined to ink a civilian nuclear energy cooperation agreement with the country which has for years indulged in nuclear proliferation. China has been demanding visa applications from Indians living in Jammu and Kashmir (wishing to travel to China) but not for Pakistanis in Pakistani Kashmir. This makes it clear on whose side China is. Against the backdrop of many serious differences, the visit by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (December 15-17) was expected to lower the temperature. It did not; instead it only exacerbated the Sino-Indian fault lines. Wen’s talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on December 16 failed to produce any dramatic results. The good thing...

Security experts have discovered the biggest series of cyber attacks to date, involving the infiltration of the networks of 72 organizations including the United Nations, governments and companies around the world. The long list of victims in the five-year campaign include the governments of the United States, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam and Canada; the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the World Anti-Doping Agency; and an array of companies, from defense contractors to high-tech enterprises. "What is happening to all this data ... is still largely an open question. However, if even a fraction of it is used to build better competing products or beat a competitor at a key negotiation (due to having stolen the other team's playbook), the loss represents a massive economic threat." Jim Lewis, a cyber expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, was briefed on the discovery by McAfee. He said it was...

Professor at IIM A was explaining marketing concepts: You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say, "I am very rich.Marry me!" That's Direct Marketing. You're at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says, "He's very rich.Marry him." That's Advertising. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day you call and say "Hi,I'm very rich.Marry me." That's Telemarketing. You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie, you walk up to her and pour her a drink. You open the door for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her a ride, and then say, "By the way, I'm very rich. Will you marry me?" That's Public Relations. You're at a party and see a gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says, "You are very rich.." That's Brand Recognition. You see a gorgeous girl at a party.
