I think for Innovation we need to recognize the market nerve. Innovation can turned into good margins only when it can be used widely or among masses ,We cann't sell ideas just because it is great and contains a lot of technical complexities.......

Several reasons are there for this market rise U.S government plans that analog broadcasts will be turned off. All 500 million mobile users in the country may have to change their phone numbers from January 1, 2010, and adopt a 11-digit cellular number if a DoT proposal is accepted by the industry. But, all leading operators said that it would be ‘next to impossible’ for the country to move to a 11-digit mobile number by January 2010 as this would involve making massive technical changes to both softwares and mobile network configurations, while adding that this process could take up to 12 months. The DoT has prepared a draft notification in which it wants all mobile users to adopt a 11-digit numbering plan by pre-fixing ‘9’ to their existing cellphone numbers. A DoT official said that the country w...

Looking at the pace with which the Indian mobile market is growing in terms of subscribers, DoT has run out of numbers that begin with ‘9′ and soon enough will have numbers that begin with the digit ‘8′. According to a local media report, nearly 100 million new numbers will be introduced in the market, half of which will be allotted to the operators. According to TRAI, India’s mobile subscriber base stood at 415 million at May’09-end compared to 277 million, a year ago. Considering the substantial growth in the number of telecom service subscribers, DoT is planning making mobile phone numbers to 11 digits.

A smartphone is a mobile phone offering advanced capabilities beyond a typical mobile phone, often with PC-like functionality. There is no industry standard definition of a smartphone. For some, a smartphone is a phone that runs complete operating system software providing a standardized interface and platform for application developers. For others, a smartphone is simply a phone with advanced features. The average person who walks, drives or travels is encumbered with keys, cash, purse or wallet, cell phone, headset, address book, planner, credit cards, and multiple IDs. Throw into that mix receipts, coupons, maps, CDs and other objects, and it’s no wonder so many personal and work-related...

Hi All, Came across a nice artical, thought beneficial for all HR professionals : What else does it take to K.E.E.P your employees satisfied? "People work for much more than a paycheck." Most employees are looking for common elements from the people they work for . People, regardless of position, seek a good " Relationship with their manager ", " A positive work environment ", and " Praise and recognition ". Successfully combine these three elements and implement them effectively and you have created the foundation for a great retention strategy. It is obvious that these crucial elements have little or nothing to do with compensation. Instead they remind us an important fact: People work for much more than a paycheck. People not only want their jobs to be a source of income but a source of attaining pride, professional development, enjoyment, and acknowledgment of their skills and efforts as well. With this in mind, I would like to introduce to you a retention-boosting method,...

Random Pick... Why me? Arthur Ashe , the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to the infected blood he had received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"? To this Arthur Ashe replied: "The world over - 50 million children start playing tennis, 5 million learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals... When I was holding a cup I never asked God 'Why me?'. And today in pain I should not be asking God 'Why me?' " Happiness keeps you Sweet Trials keep you Strong Sorrow keeps you Human Failure keeps you humble and Success keeps you glowing But only Faith Attitude Keeps you going... “ Mistakes are painful when they happen. But years later, a collection of mistakes called experience leads us to the success...”
