About "Employee Management " topic:

In todays global business, the employee management has no management reserves, what ever profit the employers are repeating on their employees they are simply enjoying on their own and ber think of employee and their future, if the business is not upto the profit margin or any global recession occurs these business are unable to stand upon and run their business and pay salaries to their employees.

My Suggsetion would be the business studies should change globally and focus on emloyee management reserves, for this employers should reserve some percentage of amount on their basic salary and these reserves should be build for a period of say three years, since the business has three yers of reserves it could with stand any kind of recesion and run the business and pay salries to employees and the employees will also have time to search for a new job or build carriers, this reserve amount should be audited regularly by the goverment at regular intervals, upon the three years reserve amount build any profits upon the busines has all the right to own them.

Providing a full-time accommodation is not possible but at least the first week or 2 should be fair as they are outstation employees and they find it difficult to adjust with the new environment for work

When corporates accommodate in guest house or hotel, medium and small industries may tie up with a serviced apartment provider. Both are fair.

ENJOY YOUR WORK.... YOUR JOB IS NOT a game. But when you approach it like a game, you’ll enjoy it more and you’re more likely to be successful at it. If you want to experience more flow on the job, then, simply learn to become more engrossed in your work. Learn to “get into it.” If your job is stressful or boring, however, becoming absorbed is difficult. If what you’ve got is stress, that means the challenge of your job, either physically or psychologically, is greater than your skills. The answer is to find out what skill you need to improve and work on that. Increase your skill. That’s the answer to stress. Find a way to become absorbed. You’ll enjoy your work more. Get so engrossed in yo...

What is the perfect way to select that best employee for an organisation?

Hi Friends, Last month I had a meeting with one of my old friends, who is now VP–HR in a fairly large IT setup. He informed me that he is planning to lay off a couple of hundred people in his company, in a phased manner. What surprised me was that he mentioned that out of them around 80% are ‘difficult employees’.  I wondered aloud what was his definition of a ‘difficult employee’. What he told me was interesting and forms the basis of this post. “In every department/organization there are few people who are arrogant, demeaning (to others), insubordinate, not trustworthy, (always) cribbing and unproductive. And these employees are a huge drain for an organization in terms of wasted time, reduced productivity, inefficiency, and ultimately resulting in customer loss.” I again asked him as to why did the team, then not take precautions while hiring? He said these are traits and sometimes it is difficult to observe them during an interview. You get to know about them only from...

This is a story from web :     One fine day, a bus driver went to the bus garage, started his bus, and drove off along the route. No problems for the first few stops - a few people got on, a few got off, and things went generally well. At the next stop, however, a big hulk of a guy got on. Six feet eight, built like a wrestler, arms hanging down to the ground. He glared at the driver and said, "Big John doesn't pay!" and sat down at the back. Did I mention that the driver was five feet three, thin, and basically weak? Well, he was. Naturally, he didn't argue with Big John, but he wasn't happy about it. The next day the same thing happened - Big John got on again, made a show of refusing to pay, and sat down.  And the next day, and the next. This grated on the bus driver, who started losing sleep over the way Big John was taking advantage of him. Finally he could stand it no longer. He signed up for body building courses, karate, judo, and all that good stuff. By the end of the...

Hi Friends, I am sharing with the reviews of IBM on work culture, growth prospects salary, done by their employees. Please share your views. A Project Manager wrote: What I like about IBM: "IBM offers a very flexible working environment. In most cases, no one will ask you what time you come or go from office. Neither the logs of the swipe card will be analyzed to take some action against you in normal circumstances. In special circumstances, the company can even allow you to work from home. No blocking of internet or phones . All in all, you are "not" working in a jail. It has a wealth of knowledge..... " What I don't like about IBM: "Sometimes you feel that there are too many processes to follow. The company is so huge that it is a challenge to make people aware of existing processes. I have often seen it happening that sometimes small groups within IBM try to develop their own processes, often unaware that such a best practice already exists and can be leveraged. Ofcourses, Lou...

In many ways, a manager has to be a leader, so therefore a manager will have many of the traits that a leader does. However, I feel the term 'manager' applies primarily to business, it's in a manager's best interest to lead his co-workers effectively, encouraging them to achieve their goals and targets. In my experience, a leader is more of a social thing; more associated with team work, too. Go to Discussion http://lnkd.in/wUJe5E
