Different countries have different approaches of doing business in their own country as well as outside their home country. The business in particular nation is influenced by its demographic, psycho graphic, Socio-economic, Political and Legal environments. In India, we are having an extensively diversified culture,we need tailor made solutions to our conditions. The culture and values have direct influences on our decision making abilities and we are having our own nationalized set of solutions. Our culture and behavior guides us towards the new future of retail marketing in which the stability and consolidation is replaced by speed and imagination, transactions are overwhelmed by relation...

Hi All, Came across a nice artical, thought beneficial for all HR professionals : What else does it take to K.E.E.P your employees satisfied? 'People work for much more than a paycheck.' Most employees are looking for common elements from the people they work for . People, regardless of position, seek a good ' Relationship with their manager ', ' A positive work environment ', and ' Praise and recognition '. Successfully combine these three elements and implement them effectively and you have created the foundation for a great retention strategy. It is obvious that these crucial elements have little or nothing to do with compensation. Instead they remind us an important fact: People work fo...

I always remain motivated and help others to stay motivated. Motivation is something that gets reflected in results. And if you are not motivated you will lose creativity, become chaos and will divert from your goal and focus. In modern world when there are thousands of provocations which try to allure you from your goal, it’s very difficult to stay motivated. Yet, you have to be steady at your aim and need to do your work properly. Loss of motivation occurs when you easily get distracted by seeing others success, and not searching the reasons behind it. People often get jealous when they see their friends, relatives and colleagues are getting what they are not worth of. At least they start...

Good compensation and benefits and domain learning opportunities though not very good but still adequate opportunities are there." What I don't like about RBS Associates: “Kind of work is not very good. Job Security in the turbulent financial markets is not very good. Good work mostly done out of onsite office locations " To read more of this and other reviews of RBS Associates: http:// bit.ly/xKILv Please revert with your views. Regards Samera

Hi Friends, I am sharing with the reviews of IBM on work culture, growth prospects salary, done by their employees. Please share your views. A Project Manager wrote: What I like about IBM: "IBM offers a very flexible working environment. In most cases, no one will ask you what time you come or go from office. Neither the logs of the swipe card will be analyzed to take some action against you in normal circumstances. In special circumstances, the company can even allow you to work from home. No blocking of internet or phones . All in all, you are "not" working in a jail. It has a wealth of knowledge..... " What I don't like about IBM: "Sometimes you feel that there are too many processes to follow. The company is so huge that it is a challenge to make people aware of existing processes. I have often seen it happening that sometimes small groups within IBM try to develop their own processes, often unaware that such a best practice already exists and can be leveraged. Dear Sir / Madam, Greetings!!! Successful organizations and teams depend on personal performance, and personal effectiveness is nowhere more important than with your non-managerial, administrative, and staff-level employees. True, fully-aligned workforce performance demands that all employees share a common vision around your organization’s mission, values, and goals, and that individuals are effective, both personally and professionally. With FranklinCovey’s one-day 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Introductory Workshop for Associates held on 16 th May 09 Hyd you can achieve sustainable superior performance across your entire organization. The universal principles taught in this workshop allow you to develop a common framework for improving character and harnessing the capacity of your workforce. This is even more critical as a new generation enters the workplace with a new set of values, perceptions, and expectations. Your organization will: • Increase retention rates,...
