The three main challenges and opportunities for retailers are :- 1)Building strong partnerships and brand correlation 2)effectively managing peak traffic periods 3)improving customer service  one need to learn that in-store and online shopping experiences for the customer must be consistent. As more people purchase online ,e-retailers need to adapt and continuously fine-tune their e-commerce sites to maintain high levels of scalability and service.
