About "Favoritism In The Workplace--Stop Being A Victim..... " topic:
Seeing workplace favoritism can be one of the most demotivating things you might experience.
In the workplace, it can refer to when someone - or perhaps a group of people - appear to be treated better than others and not necessarily for reasons related to superior work performance. It might result in this person being promoted faster than others unfairly, being paid more to do the same job as others, being given more leeway to come and go during the day as they please, that sort of thing.
Lets discuss more on this.......

In my opinion "work" should be more important other than anything. We get paid to work. Also if we concentrate on other issues will led to nothing but increase our own stress level and waste of time

Very truly said Narayanan.as you have rightly pointed out incompetent persons usually do this to protect themselves.Poor subordinate is made a scapegoat for no mistake of his or for the only mistake of having an absoloutely incompetent Boss.

As a boss, it is impossible to be "truly impartial". You have some favourites. The reason for this favouritism should be open and technical. My favourite subordinate can be one who delivers to me quality work every time. It should not be someone...

Hello friends, Sharing you with you an interesting blog posted on TalentEquity.in about how to be cheerful at workplace. Kindly share your views on this. "This is the beginning of a new year and is a right time to take stock of your work life. We take many resolutions to make our personal and professional life better and more disciplined. Well, I am not going to discuss on resolutions and their follow ups. However one thing which is very important at work is to be cheerful and happy. What if a project has failed, boss has given not-so-good feedback. What if you have not got on-site opportunity this year. Salary increment and promotion is still pending. It’s still no reason to loose your smile. Whatever your situation is things will get better for sure. Actually maintaining a cheerful and happy outlook is...

I support the fight against corruption which Anna Hazare jee has started but at the same time my mind is full of doubts.. Many doubts.. How can we stop corruption in India? When I was in school my parents used to pay 10 rupee every month to the peons to take care of me.. Though it was their duty and they should have done the dame without money but those 10 rupees created a lot of difference in their behavior. Corruption has strong roots. Corruption has to uprooted and the tumors which it has formed like the cancer tumors have to be removed. Even a single cell has the power to recreate it. We are humans and do not have control on the basics feelings like greed. If you are given even 500 rupees to do one work you will happily take it and start dreaming about how to spend it. While when your earn the same you prefer saving it. When this saving and spending ratio has to be balanced you prefer to be irrational. The cleaning of individual from within is necessary and that can be done...
