After doing some research, I was able to find what large section of both corporate India and US believe on Obama's New Tax plan...... Tax Point of View President Obama said that his new tax plan will do a lot of things including create more US jobs. Obama said that the government would offer a tax cut to companies that do their research and development in the United States. And that will 'jump-start job creation,' he said. However, most tax policy experts differ with the US Prez here. They feel that the proposals, if implemented, could raise revenue for the government but are unlikely to boost US jobs. Eric Toder, a fellow at the liberal Urban Institute and former assistant secretary of tax...

Many companies are turning to a new kind of enterprise resource planning software. This new model is much more affordable, provides faster return on investment, is easier to implement across an enterprise, provides superior connectivity and is highly configurable. Browser-based, open-source ERP applications hold many advantages over the traditional legacy based software systems of the past. They are easier to modify and customize, for one. This ease of configurability opens up the door to agility - changing the software system to take advantage of new opportunities or changes in the market for optimal positioning. The software can change as quickly as the company can. This new type of ERP is not "open source" in the usual sense of the term. The meaning of open source for this type of application is that the source code is modifiable, but not available to the general public. It is modifiable by the provider or the individual buyer. This is advantageous to buyers with IT resources...

"2 bananas cost 50 cents, banana dessert costs 10 dollars" Marketing is story-telling of any selling proposition beyond the obvious. A grand chef can change the total perception, price and taste of 2 bananas by infusing value in them through his skill. Two bananas cost 50 cents. But the same simple bananas can be transformed into a terrific dessert costing anywhere from $10 to $50 depending on the chef’s reputation. His repute gets built over time from his proven quality and taste he conjures up that his guests perceive and regard highly.  Marketing is exposing the excellence of the banana dessert the chef creates by transforming two basic bananas. Of course, the dessert has to have truth and ingenuity that end-customers can recognize and take seriously. End-customers have to believe in that dessert and its quality excellence, it must work well for them, and it must look good. This is what marketing is. You can read the complete article here. What do you think?...

Software has become easier to customize in the past decade, but hardware, for the most part, remains closed: Apple's battle to keep people from hacking the iPhone is a case in point. Although most consumer electronics are collections of smaller devices--cell phones typically include cameras and voice recorders, for example--users can't swap out the devices or modify the way they work. Bug Labs , a startup based in New York City, is hoping to change that with its new device, the Bug, scheduled to start shipping late this year. The Bug would allow users to design their own electronics and customize them however they want. CEO Peter Semmelhack explains that the foundation of the device is the Bugbase, a minicomputer running Linux that users can program. It has ports for up to four device modules, which snap in and out of place. Among the first modules the company expects to offer will be a GPS system, a camera, a motion sensor, and an LCD screen. But it also plans to offer new modules...

Credit risk management is a very important area for for the banking sector and there are wide prospects of growth and other financial institutions also face problems which are financial in nature. Also, banking professionals have to maintain a balance between the risks and the returns. For a large customer base banks need to have a variety of loan products. If bank lowers the interest rates for the loans it offers, it will suffer In terms of equity, a bank must have substantial amount of capital on its reserve, but not too much that it misses the investment revenue, and not too little that it leads itself to financial instability and to the risk of regulatory non-compliance. Software as a service (SaaS) is the talk of the day and it will increase in its popularity since there a scope of opensource to push it higher and higher. Gartner predicts that SaaS will be driven by opensource in the future. And the prediction is supported by facts and figures. By 2010, 90 percent of software as a service (SaaS) providers will have some open-source component in their technology infrastructure stacks (that is, operating system, application server and database) to reduce software acquisition expenses, according to Gartner, Inc.   User communities are expanding around application-platform-as-a-service providers and will leverage open-source practices for sharing software applications.   As the number of software as a service users increase the opensource support will also grow along with it, definitely. The more SaaS vendors use open source in the technology stack, the lower their software acquisition cost becomes. Users, however, should not expect cost savings to be...
