Ahead of its plans to fly to international locales, Paramount Airways, the Chennai-based premium service carrier, is launching services to various other destinations in the country. The fully business-class airline is to commence services to 35 more cities, increasing its domestic routes to 50 by the end of 2010. Who is making history with Jetlite?  Jetlite’s special Eclipse Flight from Delhi to 35 km south of Patna and back on July 22.  a sun-side seat for Rs 80,000 , earth-side seat costs Rs 30,000. It  is fascinating to note the change in India from the 1990s, when streets used to be deserted during a solar eclipse and people were afraid to stir out. Today, people are ready to pay huge amounts to view it.

It's no secret: Indians don't need a reason to celebrate. Whether it is taking a holy dip in the Ganges or dancing in the Himalayas, we simply love to let our hair down. And the fact that we have so many cultures and religions co-existing makes India an even merrier place to live in.Below is the lists out some of the best-known festivals and fairs that are to be held through 2010 in India. JANUARY The Kumbh Mela (Haridwar, Uttarakhand ) January 14 to April 28 Perhaps the largest religious (or otherwise) gathering in the world, the Kumbh Mela is a festival that is most revered of all festivities in India. Sages and pilgrims from across the country gather at Haridwar and take a holy dip in th...

Who is Sonia Gandhi: There is officially no Sonia Gandhi. Her real name in passport is neither Gandhi nor Sonia. Its Edvige Antonia Albina Maino. Sonia is a Russian name and not Italian. However, Antonia is an Italian name and her passport is Italian. Though she has married Rajiv Gandhi* she never accepted change of title officially. ( recall the time of turmoil in Indian politics when Sonia Gandhi was trying to be the prime minister, but ultimately Manmohan Singh became her toy) *Rajiv Gandhi: Actually Rajiv Khan being the son of Firoz Khan and Indira Priyadarshani. Gandhi is an assumed title to sentimentally lure indians for their political benefit. They are muslims by religion. Father: Stefano Eugene Maino is socially the father of Sonia. Her father was a German(Hitlers army). When Hitlers army went to Russia they were captured and imprisoned. He was captured near St. Petersburg and was imprisoned for 20 years. But he became a member of KGB and his imprisonment was limited to 4...
