It is high time green marketing had to start in india. The India Metrological Department(IMD) declared 2009 the warmest year since 1901. The average annual mean temperature over the country as a whole for the year was one degree Celsius above the average of entire country- plus 0.913 degree Celsius to be precise. The average annual mean for 30 years is 24.64 degrees Celsius. The average mean temperature in 2009 has been calculated to be 25.553 degree Celsius. The report states abnormally warm conditions prevailed over major parts of the country during January and February last year. Heat wave conditions prevailed on many occasions over the central parts during first three weeks of march and over many parts of the country during april second and third week of May. About 150 deaths due to heat wave were reported in May and 80 lives were lost due to cold wave conditions. This indicate global warming is happening in India with proof and effects of it.
