About "Go Green: Green Retailing & Marketing In India" topic:
Even though the "Green Movement" started more than a decade ago, it is only now becoming the trendy thing to be, do and buy in retail sector. Building green isn't just a cost-saving strategy; its a brand-growth strategy. A green building is also an opportunity for retailers to communicate achievements and values with their key stakeholders – customers, shareholders, communities, vendors, and employees. It takes more than selling a few green products to be called a Green Business. The true nature of going green goes so much deeper than that. This topic will discuss on how retailers can establish a greeny environment in their business.

I completely endorse your idea ma'am. Use of solar or any other alternative energy would definitely help the retailers go green. Also it will be a sort of awareness program for the people who as of now know very little about renewable energies...

When developing plans to upgrade or replace POS systems, manager s workstations and desktops, retailers should follow the energy-efficiency path. One such eco friendly technology is IBM surePOS 100. It combines energy effic...
