Till now there has been a particular limit set which accounts to $200 billion till this limit people can actually lend loans. So no point that loans are not been given.
Deepak Somani  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  4 years ago
There has been a strict check on the loan giving policy of the people. The increase that other fellow is writing about is quiet misleading.

I think RBI is doing the right thing by asking banks to end low home loan rates, as it discriminated new customers from old loyal customers of the banks and it also made many switch to new banks to get the special home loan rates which were as...

In my opinion, for the Bankers, only the incremental cost of fund has softened. For this they could charge lower rates to new customers but old customers has to pay more as old funds were raised at a higher cost.

Lately we are seeing banks making news for their teaser home loan rates by which they are targetting new customers, but somewhat RBI is telling banks that this is injustice that is happening where only banks are  giving this option to the new customers and not old customers. But let us first look what this teaser home loan means in the first place, whether its a really good option that they are providing customers, or is it just a gimmick that the banks are into :) This was a best article on Teaser home loan rates that I got on Economic times and this really gives one to know everything about these home loans actually..... Lets see the Implications of teaser home loan rates: Teaser Rates fo...

PEOPLE GOING TO THE BANK FOR HOME LOANS WANT ONLY  THE AMOUNT THEY EXPECT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE FROM THE BANK, AND THE RATE OF INTEREST IS NOT GIVEN MUCH PRIORITY AS LONG AS THERE IS NOT A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE .

These rates will continue to remain, except that now they would be defined as certain basis points above the base rate. For new home loan customers, some banks could lend close to their base rates, thereby making home loans cheaper, by 50 to 100...

When I had heard about the Windows first I could not even understand what does it mean and why is named that way but eventually things changed and today we are here using Windows extensively and even a school boy will tell you what does it mean. Later on with times we I was just getting used to windows using my P4 and then on my laptop I heard of phones with such advanced technologies. Then came Blackberry which was excluisvely for business purpose. Then the Android overtook the iPhone in 2010 to become the most popular smartphone platform in the U.S. and the third-most popular handset (behind Symbian and BlackBerry) in the world. As Google continues to build out the Android Marketplace, and as it pushes both Android and Chrome into a variety of non-PC devices, Android looks like a good bet to be the Windows of the mobile world. However, operating systems in general will become much less important over time. One of the major changes ushered in by smartphones is the importance of the...

Zuckerberg Named One of 10 Worst-Dressed Men Hi Friends.... Time magazine coverboy and billionaire Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been named one of the 10 worst-dressed guys of 2010 by Esquire magazine. When Esquire was putting together its “2010 Celebrity Style Hall of Shame” list, it didn’t have to look far in the tech world to find plenty of candidates. Mark was easy prey to Esquire‘s critical eye, given his high profile and simple wardrobe. What’s the matter with the way he dresses, anyway? We don’t mind that casual look, and if a billionaire CEO has a closet full of exactly the same shirt and pants (we’re looking at you, Steve Jobs), who are we to say he can’t wear them? It makes him comfortable, and after all, getting away with wearing a T-shirt to a black-tie event means you’re one powerful dude. All this attention to Mark’s wardrobe made us want to look for visual evidence. So here’s a gallery of the various outfits he’s been spotted wearing. You might be surprised...

Private labels V/s national brands-The undercurrent battle!   This is very interesting to note that what is making national brands vexing is not the competitors alone but the surge of private labels which seems to be eating out major chunk of the pie, traditionally a part of the appetite of the former. Private Label Manufacturer's Association categorizes PL manufacturers into 4 main categories: Large national brand manufacturers that utilize their expertise and excess plant capacity to supply store brands. Mall, quality manufacturers who specialize in particular product lines and concentrate on producing store brands almost exclusively. Often these companies are owned by corporations that also produce national brands. Major retailers and wholesalers that own their own manufacturing facilities and provide store brand products for themselves. Regional brand manufacturers that produce private label products for specific markets. In 2008, private labels had taken over 25% to 50% in...
