When Steve Jobs returned to Apple it seemed like things took a turn for the better. You could say that it all started with Steve which lead to the iPod, iPhone, the iPad, MacBook Air etc, etc… ~Get Consulting Services For Your Career or Business:...

Mobility is the new corporate lingo for profitability and efficiency. the PC was a technical marvel as was abacus, but all good things have to give way to greater ones. PC does deserves a place in the history as the creator of mass accessibility.

I don't quite agree with Neelam's argument here. She says that the era of web based applications is in and PC's are out. How then, does she plan to access the web based application ;) You still need hardware to access the web right? :) Today,...

I would like share some information regarding Apple Microsoft who are the two giants in the tech world. Apple computers have become much more mainstream in recent years. Now, it seems every time you turn on your TV, you see a Mac versus PC ad. These two companies are the two biggest competitors in the computer industry. There are some advantages and disadvantages of the both Mac and personal computers that use the Microsoft operating system. They are very different, but also very much the same. Operating Systems Mac OS X The operating system is the main difference separating Apple and Microsoft computers. Apple in 2009 introduced its operating system called Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Le...

Few more: 1.Apple focuses on consumer Market where as Microsoft focuses on Enterprise market which is huge in size and revenue. 2.Apple shows too much proprietorship compare to Microsoft. 3.Microsoft products are less in price and has huge scope.

The iphone 4 got a preemptive teardown on Monday courtesy of CEO Steve Jobs at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. Though a pre-commercial version of the iPhone 4 was notoriously taken apart by Gizmodo--and no doubt other meticulous teardowns will follow--there's nothing like an official peek inside by Jobs to set the record straight. So, what's going on inside? Not surprisingly, one of the key goals is to pack more features and functionality into a smaller space: at 9.3mm thick, t he device will be 24 percent thinner than its predecessor . And to make this point, an Apple video released Monday shows an animation of the Apple A4 chip package shrinking to accommodate a wider battery. Th...

NEW DELHI: Actor Ranbir Kapoor — reel-name Harpreet Bedi — fleeces his ex-employer by offering free 24x7 technology support to new PC buyers from his start-up Rocket Sales Corp in a recent Bollywood flick. Down to real life, 24x7 support for tech products bought by small businesses and home offices has remained largely unfulfilled. Which has left a gap in the $1-billion technology support market, being filled by start-ups now. eTechies, founded by 3 execs who worked with Raman Roy at Quattro BPO — and now backed by former Microsoft India MD Rajan Anandan — aims to move into this slot. 'There are no organised technology service providers focusing on end-to-end needs of SMBs in India,'...

Security experts have discovered the biggest series of cyber attacks to date, involving the infiltration of the networks of 72 organizations including the United Nations, governments and companies around the world. The long list of victims in the five-year campaign include the governments of the United States, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Vietnam and Canada; the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN); the International Olympic Committee (IOC); the World Anti-Doping Agency; and an array of companies, from defense contractors to high-tech enterprises. "What is happening to all this data ... is still largely an open question. However, if even a fraction of it is used to build better competing products or beat a competitor at a key negotiation (due to having stolen the other team's playbook), the loss represents a massive economic threat." Jim Lewis, a cyber expert with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, was briefed on the discovery by McAfee. He said it was...

No 1: India Since 1991, when economic liberalization unshackled India from the slow rate of growth and threw its doors open to the global economy, India has never looked back. The Knight Frank report assumes that India will shake off its current crop of social, political and economic issues and go on to the top of the heap.

World IP Day, 26 April: "The Power of Ideas as the seedbed for innovation and creativity" "World Intellectual Property Day is an opportunity to encourage people to think about the role played by intellectual property in everyday life, and about its importance in stimulating and safeguarding innovation and creativity. This year we celebrate the starting point of all intellectual property, the seeds from which all innovations and creative works grow – ideas." WIPO member states decided, in 2000, to designate a World Intellectual Property Day to raise awareness of the role of intellectual property in our daily lives, and to celebrate the contribution made by innovators and artists to the development of societies across the globe. April 26 was chosen as this was the date on which the Convention establishing WIPO entered into force in 1970. Significance of World IP Day To raise awareness of how patents, copyright, trademarks and designs impact daily life To increase understanding of how...

I reckon the lines said by a sensible person in the past that a person cannot be deceived unless the he himself consents to be decieved. To be a bit more clearer, I quote the mordant tongue of my dear friend Chuck Doherty, “If a man is ready to blow, an aspirant will come even from the banks of Lake Titicaca hiring a cab, to make him blow.” “This country is full of people who are dangerously disciplined”, Doherty once lamented and it was about the people of India. He had always maintained that majority of the people of this country were poor sceptics and if there was a minority who looked like that, they were simply cynics. Although, I never understood initially what he meant, today I see something identical to Doherty's theory. This is all about a part of the media of Tamil Nadu revealing video clippings of alleged sexual escapades of a Godman in company of a second string South Indian female film artist. More interesting than the news itself has been the response put forth by the...
