A civil Engineer with MBA qualification can definitely do well in the areas of planning,monitorring and coordination. The importantant aspect in constructiuon industry is plannining in the first instance of the project. may it be linearly programmed through soft wares employing basic principles of stratagic planning creation of budgets,material procurement schedules, manpower deployment and equipment deployment schemes is possible.

Despite some recent positive signals in the recession-hit economies, fresh MBA graduates still have to deal with constricted campus placements and lower availability of jobs. A survey by the Hyderabad chapter of the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) Alumni Association has shown that so far hardly 20 to 30 per cent of the pass-outs from the 90-odd MBA colleges in Hyderabad this year have been able to land jobs. “It is a more or less similar story elsewhere in the country. The other day I was in a restaurant and saw a sign advertising "Sliders Fridays." From what I gathered, they offered a deep discount on tiny hamburgers, called sliders, on Friday nights.
