Proposal to construct dike across Gulf of Kutch between Jamnagar and Mandvi to generate clean and cheap Electricity. This plan is identical to my suggestion of dike across Gulf of Cambay, but for a different purpose. The idea is to use the sea tide for generating electricity. The dike shall be made constructed in such a way to provide water turbines in tunnels across the wall of the dike. The turbines shall be designed to rotate with water flowing in to the captive area during high tide and water flowing out to the sea during the low tide.
