My friend Rizwan Khan mailed me this interesting draft made by a Pakis journalist. Written by a Pakistani journalist about India [MUST READ] Capital suggestion By Dr Farrukh Saleem 12/9/2007 Here's what is happening in India : The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese. In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a conse...

Bravo, for the writer to have the courage to write the facts. Indian should also follow the great things from other countries like good work culture so that Indian public sectors can also compete with the companies of Ambani's and Azim Premji's.

An eye opener article, one should read Indians and every foreigner-- On First Impression, Mumbai Can Be Scary FedEx’ outgoing India head, Jacques Creeten, says stories about sluggish India come from Indians settled abroad who think the country is stuck in the 1970s by Ashish K Mishra, Cuckoo Paul, Forbes India , July 14, 2009 “When I came here people asked me what did I do wrong to have been sent out here? Now I get invited to speak about how do you do business in India ?” I have been here for 10 years. My son pretty much grew up here. He is moving to London and the funny part is he knows people there — people from Mumbai who are joining out there. No matter where I ...

14 August, 1947, saw the birth of the new Islamic Republic of Pakistan. At midnight the next day India won its freedom from colonial rule, ending nearly 350 years of British presence in India. During the struggle for freedom, Gandhi had written an appeal 'To Every Briton' to free their possessions in Asia and Africa, especially India (Philips and Wainwright, 567). The British left India divided in two. The two countries were founded on the basis of religion, with Pakistan as an Islamic state and India as a secular one. Whether the partition of these countries was wise and whether it was done too soon is still under debate. Even the imposition of an official boundary has not stopped conflict...

Yes Tina! I agree with you. By all means it must be discouraged. The initiative need not be left for some to arrive and do. Every one of us must be ready to bell the CAT in our own humble way.

When every individual stops encouraging corruption it will automatically come to an end.... Because everyone know it is wrong but still they do it. We can correct people who do things unknowingly but not people who know it is wrong and do it....

Indian govt just makes rules but never implement strictly. Indian govt established many laws which are helpful for societies. But Govt is failed to take strict implementation of those laws in the society or country. CHILD LABOUR LAW:- Childrens below age 18 are even working in hotels motels dhabas etc. PUBLIC SMOKING LAW:- People even use to smoke on many public places like bus stands railway stations, roads even govt employee use to smoke in their premises without any hasitation. TOBACCO RISTRICTION:- Govt started an advertisement campus that smoking is prohibited for below age 18 but every thing is in vain now a days even a child of 5 to 6 years chew tobaccos.

Integrity of any political party and its worthiness is judged from the way they conduct themselves in the Parliament and make themselves worthy to the people who elected them. Democracy is strangled when elected representatives, ignore the needs and aspirations of the people whom they represent. Democracy is strangled, when the political parties stoop down to use the communal feeling of one group against other to come to power and compelled to oppress other communities to appease its supporters. Democracy is strangled, when ‘Playing dirty Politics’ become the main business and theme of the Government and Political parties that support and oppose the government. "The Bitter Pills for India Reprieve" I wrote this in this community in toosteps.com few years back. The article is available in the following link in www.wordpress.com http://wp.me/p1ZsI2-5I

India-Iran Drama Continues If Iran really was behind the February 13 attack on an Israeli diplomat in New Delhi, Indian officials need be asking one key question: why? After all, despite the fact that India has voted against Iran twice at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), New Delhi has seemingly continued to have friendly relations with Tehran. And why would Iran choreograph an attack like this at a time when India is seriously engaged in trying to negotiate a complicated arrangement with Tehran to pay for oil it has bought? (India owes billions of dollars in lieu of oil it has already received over the years). One suggestion has been that Iran didn’t take the West-led censure motions at the IAEA as well it seemed, and could in effect be punishing a supposed ally for challenging it in an international forum in this way. Regardless, the Indian media has been surprisingly quite on the sensitive question of Iranian involvement. The device used by the lone perpetrator...
