The list of "fast followers" are more than just imitators. They have continued to innovate far beyond the original idea or feature set and have maintained market leadership. If you look closely at these companies they have a mix of technical...

In India many companies researchers imitate the technologies of other countries.... Actions speak louder than words. We shouldn't say ourselves that we are innovative. We are not yet. For example: Apple ate the entire electronics industry (Sony...

The key issue is perhaps not whether you invent or imitate; but rather what you can do well. Though inventing is supposedly tougher with higher expenditure, greater requirement of calibre to innovate, greater R D etc, an imitation when performed...

For any start-up to be successful....it has to invent either in the concept or if it is imitating the existing concept then the implementation of it has to be different. Imitation also is good but if done in a perspective to make it appear as...

No, pure R&D startegies require innovation, but in marketing a product, you require imitation and then novelty in the product for trademark and copyright issues.

Yes infact, copying others’ ideas is a good business. Sometimes it’s great business. And it happens more often than people think. In one study I reviewed, and even today if you look at most of the innovations 3/4th of them were almost copied. For...

I would like to support this side. When privitisation comes in all the sectors, the prices will increase and this will hit bad on poor people. So the major sectors should not be privitised it should have govt.control.

Ya definitely one should go for skills. Marks and percentage can only help a little. You might get some preference while getting placed from the campus, but after that only your skills and talent will help you in your achievements ahead.

I hate those who see first marks on cv rather than skills interests. suppose a freshers got 65% in BE/B.tech but not having even 60% mark in 10th or 12th , then he or she is not eligible to Most of the IT companies. shame on Indian education...

Integrity of any political party and its worthiness is judged from the way they conduct themselves in the Parliament and make themselves worthy to the people who elected them. Democracy is strangled when elected representatives, ignore the needs and aspirations of the people whom they represent. Democracy is strangled, when the political parties stoop down to use the communal feeling of one group against other to come to power and compelled to oppress other communities to appease its supporters. Democracy is strangled, when ‘Playing dirty Politics’ become the main business and theme of the Government and Political parties that support and oppose the government. "The Bitter Pills for India Reprieve" I wrote this in this community in toosteps.com few years back. The article is available in the following link in www.wordpress.com http://wp.me/p1ZsI2-5I

India-Iran Drama Continues If Iran really was behind the February 13 attack on an Israeli diplomat in New Delhi, Indian officials need be asking one key question: why? After all, despite the fact that India has voted against Iran twice at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), New Delhi has seemingly continued to have friendly relations with Tehran. And why would Iran choreograph an attack like this at a time when India is seriously engaged in trying to negotiate a complicated arrangement with Tehran to pay for oil it has bought? (India owes billions of dollars in lieu of oil it has already received over the years). One suggestion has been that Iran didn’t take the West-led censure motions at the IAEA as well it seemed, and could in effect be punishing a supposed ally for challenging it in an international forum in this way. Regardless, the Indian media has been surprisingly quite on the sensitive question of Iranian involvement. The device used by the lone perpetrator...
