Shree Bose, Naomi Shah and Lauren Hodge were chosen winners among top 15 finalists at Google science fair. It was a girl power show perhaps. They were awarded for there deep thinking and unique solutions. Whree Bose won in the 17-18 age group. She won 50,000 dollar scholarship and an internship opportunity at the prestigious Geneva-based CERN institute. Her project was "improve ovarian cancer treatment for patients when they have built up a resistance to certain chemotherapy drugs". Shah won in the 15-16 age group for her "endeavour to prove that making changes to indoor environments that improve indoor air quality can reduce people's reliance on asthma medications".
