It is always good to develop technology but its speed is not always in our hands there are many things which we can say but cannot do anything about it. This is one of them. We know we need development but what are the possibilities?

Memristor is latest entry in innovation which could possibly replace RAM in near future. It will make computers more intelligent by tracking data it has retained. It could allow computers to make decisions by understanding past patterns of data it has collected, similar to human brains collecting and understanding a series of events. For example, a memristor circuit could be capable of telling a microwave the heating time for different food types based on the information it has collected over time, said Stanley Williams, senior fellow at HP A memristor circuit requires lower voltage and less time to turn on than  competitive memory  like DRAM and flash, Williams said. 'Because it [uses] less...

Human beings, over a period of time, have been making mistakes studying patterns. Majority of the "goofups" are happening based on past data, frequent occurrences, etc. Now, MEMRISTOR, is going to take over. Its a good innovation for those who...

I don't see any 4G features on this device. There is some noise going on about 4G lately, but if a device is not capable of decent 4G throughput - it is just not a 4G device. OK, it is a nice phone, but not 4G, not for real.

Apple iMac Sandy Bridge with i5 and i7 processor are out. Apple is offering Magic Mouse and MAgic Trackpad with it without any extra charge. Magic Trackpad was introduced in July 2010 . TrackPad and Magic mouse were sold as accesories before this. They were to revolutionize the market and bid good bye to the traditional mouse. Though in the end it is upto usrs, they are given of choice of taking a traditional mouse too. This Magic of Magic mouse has not worked yet and people are prefering the traditional mouse. Is it because we are always resistant to new technologies or is it that they actually do not come out to be that good??
Jeeju C Mohan  |  Commented  |  1 year ago

Yes, I agree with your comments. We are loosing the grace on the gadgets. I am postponing my purchases to have better standartized version. i.e, my friends suggested to but an andriod tab only the customized layer stablized, probaly after an year. :)

I dont think so. Gadgets makes our life easier. All we need to do is select that which suits us.The rest is SCRAP .
Taniya Laskar  |  Argues in support of  "Yes"  |  1 year ago
Perhaps yes. Keeping track of every new gadget was simpler few years back but now everyday you can see something new coming up. By the time you are comfortable aboutt he features of one product the new one gets launched..

Look after parents in their old age and leave career aside
Anna George  |  Argues in support of  "Look after parents in their old age and leave career aside"  |  3 months ago
Both are important. To look after your parents you do not have to leave your job. Instead take your parents to the residence near your work place. Let them live with you there. I do not think they will be a hindrance for your good career anytime....
Avinash punj  |  Argues in support of  "Look for career and go outside far from home"  |  1 year ago
your priority should be given to your career because this is what your parents have expectation from you and once you settle then you can take care of your parents.
Sheetal Bhandari  |  Argues in support of  "Look for career and go outside far from home"  |  1 year ago
Just go out work hard , become capable of taking your parents with you and take care of them. Earn , make a career and be a good human being..It is not as simple as it look but is the best thing one can do... You should not be confused about this..

Random Pick... Why me?  Arthur Ashe , the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to the infected blood he had received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"? To this Arthur Ashe replied: "The world over - 50 million children start playing tennis, 5 million learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals... When I was holding a cup I never asked God 'Why me?'. And today in pain I should not be asking God 'Why me?' " Happiness keeps you Sweet Trials keep you Strong Sorrow keeps you Human Failure keeps you humble and Success keeps you glowing But only Faith Attitude Keeps you going... “ Mistakes are painful when they happen. But years later, a collection of mistakes called experience leads us to the success...”

It usually takes us much longer to change our moods than we’d like it to take. Here are ten things you can do in ten minutes or less that will have a positive emotional effect on you and those you love. 1. Watch "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. See it online at Oprah.com. This is a deeply moving segment that may be the best ten minutes you've ever invested in front of a computer. 2. Spend a little while watching the sunset with your mate. Nothing extra is necessary. Just sit and take in the natural beauty of the sky and appreciate being able to share it with the one you love. 3. Sit quietly by yourself. It doesn't really matter where or when. Just let your feelings bubble up and then experience the thoughts flowing out of your mind. Clearing your head and heart will give you extra energy to get through the rest of the day. 4. Write a thank you note to your mate. When was the last time you thanked your partner for just being who he or she is and being with you? Doing this in...

What is stopping you from getting what you want in life? Your friends? Your family? A sense that failure – or success – might change your life and that feeling uncomfortable? A sense that the people around you might disapprove of you aiming for what you want, of you succeeding or failing. Essentially it boils down to fear. The big roadblock, sometimes the massive wall in the middle of road that keeps you from getting what you want. How to overcome it? Here´s some useful ways I have found so far. 1. Taking small steps This is good for fear that can seem overwhelming at first. For instance the strong feeling – it can almost feel like a flight or fight-response – just before doing public speaking or asking someone out for a date. If you´re for instance nervous socially you might not feel able to ask people out on dates right away. The fear of being rejected and that others might think less of you if you get turned down can make many of us feel unable to ask the question. A solution...
