About "Investing in Healthcare" topic:

The Patent concerns and expirations were worries for all major firms, the Department of Justice hit many companies with fines, Big Pharma made thousands of job cuts, and also got demolished with enrollment cuts, and investors struggled to find much, if any safety in the whole sector. Going forward in 2009 will be quite an interesting year in the markets and the ever-so struggling economy. So let us share our thoughts on investing in healthcare..

So where indian hospitals can strategize to get positive results? a) By choosing marketing, brand building and public relations initiatives. b) By adopting innovative ways in treatment or by inventing new process management. What option will give us the desired ROI if we are an entrepreneur or intrepreneur?

Brand building is now common for any healthcare set up but till date more than 80% of patients are treated in healthcare organisation who do not boast of any kind of branding in their business. Is cost still a significant factor in decision making or it is just a choice of common people. Why Brands are not playing their desired role in attracting patients? Is branding anyway related to the quality of services provided? so what option you are choosing a) creating a stronger brand for the hospital. b) providing cheaper services for catering maximum patients.

Day trading refers to the practice of buying and selling financial instruments within the same trading day such that all positions will usually (not necessarily always) be closed before the market close of the trading day. This is different from After-hours trading. Traders that participate in day trading are called day traders. Some of the more commonly day-traded financial instruments are stocks, stock options, currencies, and a host of futures contracts such as equity index futures, interest rate futures, and commodity futures. Day trading used to be the preserve of financial firms and professional investors and speculators. However, day trading has become increasingly popular among casual traders due to advances in technology, changes in legislation, and the popularity of the internet. It usually takes us much longer to change our moods than we’d like it to take. Here are ten things you can do in ten minutes or less that will have a positive emotional effect on you and those you love. 1. Watch "The Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch. See it online at Oprah.com. This is a deeply moving segment that may be the best ten minutes you've ever invested in front of a computer. 2. Spend a little while watching the sunset with your mate. Nothing extra is necessary. Just sit and take in the natural beauty of the sky and appreciate being able to share it with the one you love. 3. Sit quietly by yourself. It doesn't really matter where or when. Just let your feelings bubble up and then experience the thoughts flowing out of your mind. Clearing your head and heart will give you extra energy to get through the rest of the day. 4. Write a thank you note to your mate. When was the last time you thanked your partner for just being who he or she is and being with you? Doing this in...
