The recent revelations about the alleged phone tapping has created a furore in political circles. Tell us what do you think on this issue.
Phone Tapping is indeed a violation of basic citizen rights but it is a way to know before-hand about any criminal activities being planned on a certain country (by criminal i mean, terrorist activities, underworld links, bribery and kidnapping cases to mention few).
Phone Tapping by the Government, since it does prevent lot of criminal acts on our soil as well as catch hold of traitors of the country. Atlast, what we all need is a safe and secure place, with honest leaders ruling us. So, why not use this medium of phone tapping to identify culprits and punish them? What are your views on this issue people.

Its unethical if eavesdropping is unethical...laws have to be made on the basis of a country's ethical values...thr r a lot of things that r logically correct but dont go well with our social/cultural/ethical values & hence should not be allowed.

My fundamental rights end when they tend to intrude into yours. I can swing my arms - but if it intrudes into your personal space then there is a problem. Phone tapping is done to "protect the innocent and weed out the "guilty". Phone tapping can...

By Lori Bongiorno How much radiation does your cell phone emit? It's easy to find out the answer thanks to the Environmental Working Group's new online guide to cell phone emissions . The non-profit research and advocacy group ranked over 1,000 different cell phones according to radiation levels. It looked at the publicly available, but difficult to find, specific absorption rate (SAR) for each phone. SAR is a measure of how much radiation is absorbed by the body when the phone is sending a signal to the network. (Your phone only emits radiation when you talk or text.) The jury is still out on whether cell phone radiation is harmful to human health , but it certainly won't hurt to limit your exposure to cell phone radiation when you can.
