About "Is the LOKPAL passed by the LS, helpful for our country?" topic:
No. It is completely a political gimmick and it is beneficial for the politicians only. It will not bring any change to the common people of our country.

Frankly! Noby including Team Anna was serious about it. It was best example of our where our society and polity stands today. Nobody is ready to shoulder the burden of work but ever ready to point fingers in full media glare.

Lokpal Bill Collapses Indian politics was in a tailspin as 2011 drew to a close as the Lokpal (Ombudsman) Bill, which was passed by the Lok Sabha on December 27, collapsed in the Rajya Sabha a couple of days later. The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, which is in a minority in the Rajya Sabha, found the going tough during an extended debate on the bill on December 29 when its biggest ally, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), refused to toe the government line and made clear its intention of voting against the bill. The TMC wanted all references to Lokayuktas (the state equivalent of Lokpal) and anti-corruption agencies like the CBI deleted from the bill on the grounds that these mili...

I refuse to respond to TROLLS. Pl see my earlier post on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COMPANY THAT ANNA HAZARE KEEPS and as you read some of the ballistic comments you will understand what I mean. As Sachin says "Let my bat do the talking", so here I am with another food for thought on Anna Hazare's campaign. I have stated that earlier, and I repeat ad nauseam now also, that I have no doubt in my mind that Anna's campaign is the bitter medicine that this scams-ridden nation and the UPA II government badly need. He is doing a good job -- the scavenger's job. The nation should be grateful to him and I salute his spirit and his well-meaning intent. More than anyone else, it is ANNA HAZARE who needs to be given BHARAT RATNA. Anna ji hi hain aaj ke asli Gandhi. However, journalism has taught me an important thing: never to get bowled over by one side howsoever convincing and appealing that side might be. So here I am with some more questions. I repeat once again that these probing...

Hyderabad June 7: Bulls may be loading up stocks and nudging up the Sensex in anticipation of fresh economic reforms by the UPA Government, but recessionary fears continue to cast a gloom in the job market, especially for the fresh MBA pass-outs this year. Despite some recent positive signals in the recession-hit economies, fresh MBA graduates still have to deal with constricted campus placements and lower availability of jobs. A survey by the Hyderabad chapter of the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) Alumni Association has shown that so far hardly 20 to 30 per cent of the pass-outs from the 90-odd MBA colleges in Hyderabad this year have been able to land jobs. “It is a more or less similar story elsewhere in the country. Campus placements have dwindled beyond expectation,” the alumni association says. Collecting data from the 90-odd MBA colleges in Hyderabad, the association points out that 20 to 30 per cent of the 10,000 graduates who passed out this year have been...
