Something which has become a part of our life.. We all need security but where is it?? We all are in search of it but we juct don't know where to find it. People give half of their lives to a job and then they become victimof layoffs.. Where to go ..What to do.. Does anyone have the answers??

Talking to the direct supervisor about ways to become more valuable to the orgnisation. Improved work performance. Online learning to perform better, quickbooks is an example. Inquiring about being cross-trained in other departments. Asking a colleague to give a job performance review. References from new relationships and preparing a new resume.

Sony is yet again ready to layoff 10,000 employees. It is not clear if this will be from Japan or overseas. This makes us think that how unpredictable can working in big brands be. We normally think that we should go for a big brand instead of working for a small company but when incidents like this happen they tear away our dreams, make us rethink and take away our sleep.
