When there is no friend, When life is on the dead end, When world is not a paradise, When your confidence dies, Tell yourself - Go on, THIS IS LIFE! When things don't go right, When there is no ray of light, And its too hard to survive, Tell yourself - Go on, THIS IS LIFE! When there is competition to face, When you are lagging behind in the race, When you've lost faith in God, When you're betrayed by a fraud, Tell yourself - Go on, THIS IS LIFE! When others don't respect you, When you're not amongst the admirable few, When for a question, you can't find a solution, When all you're sure about, is confusion, Tell yourself - Go on, THIS IS LIFE! Its a very one sided debate!! Who will even deny such basic fact. The debate should be about influences of parents and friends!! Thats my view! And yes, please do the correction as suggested by Viktor! :)

We are programmed to do things the hard and difficult way, in order to get what we want. We can not believe that we can get anything without hard labour, sweat and tears, obstacles and misery. This is nothing else but a tough old programmation, a conditioning from our childhood. If you are like me, you were bombarded as a child with exp...

Thought of sharing an Email I received about how to lead LIFE....           Health: 1. Drink plenty of water. 2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar. 3.. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants. 4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy. 5. Make time to practice meditation, yoga, and prayer. 6. Play more games. 7. Read more books than you did in 2008. 8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. 9. Sleep for 7 hours. 10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile. Personality: 11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all a...

Speech by  Chetan Bhagat  Good Morning everyone and thank you for giving me this chance to speak to you. This day is about you. You, who have come to this college, leaving the comfort of your homes (or in some cases discomfort), to become something in your life. I am sure you are excited. There are few days in human life when one is truly elated.  The first day in college is one of them.  When you were getting ready today, you felt a tingling in your stomach. What would the auditorium be like, what would the teachers be like, who are my new classmates – there is so much to be curious about. I call this excitement, the spark within you that makes you feel truly alive today. Today I am going ...

When things go wrong as they sometimes will, When the road you're trudging seems all uphill, When funds are low and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit. Rest, if you must, but don't you quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns As every one of us sometimes learns. And many a failure turns about When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don't give up though the pace seems slow - You may succeed with another blow. Success is failure turned inside out - The silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far: So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit It's wh...

Importance of Distance Education in India                                                                                                                                                               Asif Ahmed   After independence, India had made tremendous progress in the field of education, though mostly quantitative in nature. Earlier, education was available only to the elites in society, and a large majority of poor and marginalized people remained illiterate. Political considerations have an important role in the expansion of higher education, especially at the state level. The state government experienced tremendous pressure from the public to establish more and more colleges and universities. In a democratic society, even the strong governments find it very difficult to resist such pressures and are compelled to succumb to the same. These considerations have led to fast expansion of higher education in our country, which in turn, have adverse impact upon its quality....

I am very happy to see 'Right to Education' becoming a reality. 'Right to Education' has become a fundamental right now. As everybody knows that a fundamental right is to be secured or ensured by the states and when the state is failed to secure a fundamental right, then, the citizens can approach the High Court or the Supreme Court under Article 226 of Constitution of India and under Article 32 respectively. We know what all the fundamental rights under the constitution and also the directive principles. We have seen in the past as to how the scope of Part-III of Constitution has been expanded by the Constitutional Courts from time to time and at one point of time, it has appeared to many as I believe that the line between Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy has become very thin. Interpretation of constitutional provisions apart, ultimately it is the state that has to secure the rights. It is the bold step of the UPA led Congress Government making education...

W elcome to our ‘MahaManan Kendra’ ( MahaManan education center).  We think, customary (formal) academic (school – college etc.) education is not sufficient for true development of human beings. For that, we need such an uncustomary (non-formal) basic self-development education which can help us to be fully developed human beings.     We want to establish an excellent –incomparable system of essential education for true universal self-development, world wide– that is ‘MahaDharma’ –the ideal way of better living –the way to better life. ‘MahaManan’ is the practical aspect of ‘MahaDharma’.  We are benefited and we want also you be benefited with us! If you are interested in this program, please join us and extend your helping hands.   'MahaManan' that is to say-- 'Maha Atma-Vikas' with 'Maha-Yoga' education (the excellent true universal self-developmental education) is not only some different from other Yoga and self-developmental procedure, but something special. It’s true that practice makes the man perfect. It was my stint with the leading life insurance company of India under tremendous sales pressure which helped me in learning new tricks of this trade. I have sold thousands of policies in last two and half years. For me, it’s very easy to identify in only two minutes, whether the customer is really serious in doing some investment or he has just called for information gathering activity. I have been the top performer and given various prizes. I have the reputation of converting 7 out of 10 clients if the customer has money in his pocket. I have earned lot of respect and money in this industry. At some occasions I picked policies worth million in just 10 minutes. I have never followed customer more than 2 times. I think any sales people must do that. I have habit of closing the deal at the discussion table in the first meeting with the client. Secret of my success is hard work and dedication. I have never given up. Each policy that I...

Why the pen is mightier than the keyboard: Children who write by hand 'learn better than those who type'   Children and students who write by hand learn better than those who type, a study has revealed. Something is apparently lost in the brain process when switching from pen and book to computer screen and keyboard. This is because reading and writing involves a number of our senses, according to the scientists who conducted the study. When writing by hand, the movements involved leave an imprint in the part of the brain called the sensorimotor. This process helps to help us recognise letters. Simply touching and typing on a keyboard produces a different response in the brain, which means it does not strengthen the learning mechanism in the same way. In tests, two groups of volunteers were asked to learn an unknown alphabet. The first was taught to write the letters by hand, while the other used keyboards. At weekly intervals their recollections of the alphabet were recorded. And...
